I bought my FightStick TE 3 years ago, before amazon shipped it to australia. It cost $110 back then, but had to ship it myself which cost over $80. This is an unbelievable deal for a quality stick with authentic sanwa parts.
Any review on the built quality? Sorry noob here for arcade joystick controllers.
It's a Mad Catz with Sanwa parts….you can't go wrong. Mad Catz make some of the best fight sticks (along with Hori), and the Sanwa parts are the same as you would find in arcade cabinets, and are top shelf.
I'm actually surprised that this comes with Sanwa parts. I thought the Arcade edition used lesser parts and the Tournament Edition got the Sanwa parts?
I've just about talked myself into getting one even though I don't really need a 3rd stick. :-(
A lot of local places are selling it for over $200. Shows how much we are getting ripped off down here.

the problem is I will only use it for less than 1 hour a month. Is it going to be a bit of waste to spend $112 for this?
Definitely worth. If you buy a cheaper stick, you'll feel the difference immediately.
What is the difference between cross for Xbox and line for Xbox versions?

i have got a Super Street Fighter Madcatz Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition PS3 Fightstick Joystick for sale if someone wants it. It has been taken good care with minimum use as I got no time to practise combo lol
This is what it looks exactly the same.
http://www.amazon.com/Street-Fighter-FightStick-Tournament-P…Haha, I got the same stick (except x360 version). It's a good stick.
it is definitely an excellent stick, well better than the pro version too. Quite sad I am not that into it due to life commitment and many other games those I have never finished/touched yet.
This is a tournament edition stick. Mad Catz aren't using the term "Tournament Edition" any more with new sticks, they've replaced TE with "Fightstick Pro". I was reading about it last night in a few reviews.
"With the recent release of Capcom’s highly anticipated brawler Street Fighter X Tekken, Mad Catz has decided to do away with the “Tournament Edition” handle that has previously graced their premium arcade sticks, and have now rebranded them as the FightStick Pro"

If you want to buy it from an Aussie retailer it is cheaper with a game here.

BTW: Super fast delivery (same day for me in Sydney as I ordered it before 9am).
That's $210 to Brisbane after shipping. That game can be had for $23 (free shipping), so still a saving of $70 if you buy the stick from Amazon, and the game from that store.

http://www.dungeoncrawl.com.au/p-4515-madcatz-street-fighter…there is also dungeon crawl, free shipping. ive found that this is the cheapest in aus without a doubt compared to other sites that sell well over $200. at retail it costs $160, it is $149.90 at DC. so your doing yourself a huge part in saving and ships and delivers in 1-3 days. amazon on the other hand if i remember from checking was $117.13 (depends on where you live in aus) and that averages from 8-16 business days, while on the other hand u can also get the express which delivers in 3 days for $126 (again depending on where u live and when u purchased it).
if u cant wait id say get the amazon one for $126, its still cheaper than most aus suppliers or the $117 if u dont mind the shipping process. just in case ur cautious about anything happening to the product whilst arriving to aus and for some apparent reason ur not satisfied and have to send it back which will cost extra money then go with dungeon crawl. its covered under shipping insurance.
no matter what, all these deals are cheaper than the majority of aus suppliers.
NOTE: price has been jacked up from $149.90 to $159.90 (4pm), which is the original retail price
I bought a hori fighting stick V3 last year and I don't like it very much. The stick is way too loose for me. Is this joystick any better? Thanks
the stick works on the pc? or just for ps3..? cheers..
Good price. I was all set to buy the Tournament edition stick which also has a massive discount, but they want to charge $80 shipping for that compared to $16 for this. Unreal…
