Got an email from DigitalStar with their 'Mid-Summer Mad Deals'. Not a bad price considering the last hard drive deal just expired although shipping does make it less sweet if you don't live in Sydney.

They're located in Auburn NSW. I've bought something from them before but it was years ago, so I can't really say much about their service and such. For what it's worth I didn't have any issues with them back then.

It also looks like Officeworks stocks the same drive (TB110AK3BA) so time to put on them pricematching pants.

  It appears the Toshiba is 5400rpm with 3 years warranty.
  The Hitachi is 7200rpm with 3 years warranty, it also apparently has/had some compatibility issues with Windows 8.
