Cashback on a range of brother printers. The HL-2140 mono laser printer is currently $88 at Officeworks, after $20 cashback makes it $68. It comes with 1,500 page toner cartridge in the box. Seems to be a good unit for everyday printing. Officeworks also has the HL-2142 (same as HL-2140 except in white instead of grey) for $99, also $20 cashback.
Might have to get one.
Harvey Norman will give you this printer for $75 if you ask for the best price.
I wonder if cashback still applies (it should, since it's from Brother AU), $55 is awesome, about the same price as a 1,500 page toner.
I am not sure. I have been looking at this printer for 3 months, waiting for the next cashback deal, lol. I just had a look on the brother website, I couldnt seen any mention of this cashback. Maybe its Officeworks only?

BTW, on the cashback flyer there are two lists of eligible models. The first list is the same as on www.brothercashback.com.au, for purchases between 1 Nov to 31 March. The second list contains the HL-2140 and others purchased from 2 Jan to 31 March. So I'm guessing the website hasn't been updated yet :)

Has been updated. Got printer at harvey norman for $85 today. Got home, NO TONER CARTRIDGE! Calling first thing 2moz. Will post results!
Gave me a brand new cartridge in its box.
Only downside is that even the supposedly high yield cartridges are only rated at 2600 pages at 5% cover. Does make it a bit more expensive to run.
Do you know any other sub $100 lasers that do more pages on a standard cartridge? I am not trying to be rude, I am genuinely interested, as I want to get the best laser printer I can sub $100.
Been to 2 officeworks and they don't have stock. Went to harvey norman and got it instead. Hopefully the cashback works with them.
How to you get to the claim printer section? I only can see multifuntional printers…
Perhaps they haven't got time to update the website, seeing that some cashback only started on 02/Jan, still within the Christmas/New Year holidays.

I bought this unit last March at the Goodguys for $80. I had a HL-2040 prior to that. Both excellent printers.
