Went into DSE Powerhouse at Chadstone (VIC) and saw a flyer for 10c digital photo printing every Tuesday. Limit is 250 photos. I asked the salesperson if this was a one off deal and he said no but couldn't say how long it would last. It is available at most of the stores with a photo centre. You would probably need to check with your local store.
Urghh, I'm so sick of tuesdays because of this. I work in a powerhouse photo center, last 3 tuesdays we have had over 10,000 photos in the single day and dont finish printing them till friday.
Regular prices are 19c each, over 250 prints and it comes down to 15c, then over 500 its 10c each with cat no# xm8027. Prices are for the entire order not just extra ones.
The reason your photos are coming out bad is because the place u take your photos to has lazy staff, and they aren't doing emulsion changes manually, makes the photos turn out kind of brownish.
Hi, do you know if this special applies to all the DSE Powerhouses or if its just for this particular DSE Powerhouse, reason I ask is because I am in Sydney and would like to take up the offer.

My local Chemist Warehouse print photos for 10c every day. I won't be surprised if other stores have the same price.
Thanks for the heads up but I don't have a Chemist Warehouse close by, so I thought this was a decent deal.
Clive Anthony's has it for 10 cents every day too - done within the hour.
To take advantage of this offer, you have to transfer the photos you want to print onto a CD and have it sent off site to be printed. Photos arrive back a few days later.
Can you have the choice between Matt & Glossy finish?
I don't think there would be, but I can follow it up for you. Nothing was written on the flyer, other than limit of 250 photos. I would be suprised if they charged more as other places don't.

i run the photolab in blacktown and it is crazy on tuesday!
the tuesday after xmas we did 15000 prints
we dont charge any more for matte or gloss and our prints are excellent
its fuji paper which is the best quality you can get.
i might rant on it but i believe in the quality of the product i sell
so go to your dse on tuesday, but make sure the staff know what they are doing!!

Thanks, I've been looking to get a few snaps printed up for friends, so this is a good find.
Just note that the print qual at DSE is average (at best), and the last two times I took shots in there they messed up the color profiles. Anything bigger than a 6x4" or any favourite shots - take them somewhere pro and pay the extra couple of dollars. Foto Riesel in the city is hard to beat.
But for filling a 300 photo album for friend/family xmas presents, this is an awesome deal.
