yes you need to become member, JV. i dont like it either but this store give many free $10 in the past so people still love it.
and they put one sample of hat image, not so pretty one. funny they should put the great photo and then send worse one.
I hate these vendor tactics of increasing their spam contacts. I remember when I first signed up for Groupon I was getting multiple spams a day, and had to unsubscribe to each one according to their classification!

I had a $10 voucher which I didn't spend when they there handing them out and at the end, I only paid $9.95 for shipping for the 3-pack hat and 4 beanies.

You only get the $20 after your friend makes a purchase.
But if you are buying something at full price anyway you could invite your significant other/parent/kid/goldfish and purchase on their account giving your account a $20 credit.
