Scoopon, dodgy as always!

hi all,

just wanting to know who of you bought the "All you can eat dumplings" deal for $22 in Redfern NSW.

My Order was accepted and then I got an email today saying "The thing you ordered is out of stock, you have to click this link to be able to get any of your other purchases" then clicking the link provided goes to my order which says "OUT OF STOCK"

too bad, people on Whirlpool also complaining about the exact same thing. The link also takes you to their website with the exact same deal but double the price now. baiting people ? I'd say so!

    I got the same thing when I bought the BP car wash deal.

    I have bought loads of stuff/deals from them and i have had every one of them?

      I think this policy of not overselling, or perhaps overselling but then asking permission from the business is new. I have probably bought over 150 deals from them.

        i thought this policy was common sense, but i guess itz something 'new' since businesses are getting scared of groupbuy websites nowadays

    Better to go to dumpling king in burwood, 15 fish and corriander dumplings $9.90.

    Double that and no normal person can eat 30 dumplings and your still ahead

    With so many people having issues with these types of sites im not sure if its worth the hassle if/when something goes south.
