You can eat KFC without getting obese, its called moderation, everything is good for you in moderation. Its probably does more good than harm for people who eat it occasionally. Its all just about balance. :)

Sadly I don't like the original recipe chicken anymore since I got food poisoning from it once. I prefer the crispy strips and nuggets, they always seem to be cooked through a lot more. Great deal if you like the original recipe but :)

The Artarmon store next to BP station in Pacific Highway used to have HotNSpicy all year round. Not sure if they still have. I guess you can give them a call and ask.

Why do you assume everyone eats this on a daily basis? Some people buy it once a year, and $10 it's a nice change from thier regular healthy eating pattern.

Fatty Chicken is great when pulling a long nighter. You require all that energy and it is easily burned up.
Being a true Ozbargainer, IMO is weighing up the whole situation when deciding to buy. I see a lot of people get sucked into buying 9 pieces of chicken "just cause it's a good deal" without considering their health. I would only buy this personally if I was a hobo with limited resources looking for good $ per kj to keep me alive and a change from the soup kitchen.
I agree with you but most people are fixated on the savings rather than the big picture or kid themselves into a one off. This deal is aiming to bring in suckers every Tuesday once a week, to create a routine and hope people keep going to KFC after the deal has finished. Hopefully, the smarter people don't fall for that trap…

thats like 6300 calories. I'm sure some people can do it and wash it down with some soft drink.
I can do it, but I also run heaps and enjoy a proactive lifestyle so the negative effects are lost on me.

I doubt I'll ever get overweight, no matter how hard I try. Some people can eat what they like and don't seem to put on weight, while there are others who just have to look at a burger and gain 10 kg. It all comes down to your metabolism. Irrespective, this deal only happens once a week, so its not like anyone can have it too often. :)
Agree, people with serious overeating issues might buy 9 pieces everyday at this price if it was available daily. You would get very fat very rapidly eating this every day.
The problem is.. they eat just some other type of junk with no nutrition on the other days. But c'mon.. Eating 9 pieces of fried chicken is pure gluttony. Disgusting.
I used to think the same, then it all caught up with me one day. 3 months hard training got me back into shape but I haven't forgotten the day I went from being lazy and skinny to lazy and a lump of fat shit.
If you be complacent and eat shit food all the time relying on your metabolism to save you, you'll be in for a rude shock one day.
I should say though, I still enjoy a fast food pig-out once a month or so - but I usually feel like arsepaper for about a day afterwards (not used to eating that kind of food anymore - used to have at least one Dominos pizza per week…)

totall forgot about this deal…unfortunately about 100 other people did not and there was a massive 1 hour queue
then i saw the sign an realised what the fuss was about. The staff couldnt cook fast enough, but the good thing was that the chicken eeryone got was fresh :D

Absolute terrible way to eat. Soggy, greasy crap. Can easily get something far better and healthier at the local BBQ chicken shop. :)
