Hi neosin,
Thanks for the info and link - much appreciated!
Where would you suggest going for a good deal? That one is very close to what I am looking for (I want at least 2.0GHz processor, 2GB+ RAM, 250GB+ HDD, DVD burner, for about $800. That one is very close… Any suggestions where you think the best deals are? I'm in Canberra so a deal at a big name (eg. DSE, OW, HNorman, Good Guys, Bing Lee, JB Hi Fi, HarrisTech, etc would be the most useful)
Many thanks!
This is just the retail price - RRP is $899 and cashback is $100. Any retailer can you do this, if not cheaper. Only problem is stock is non existent at the moment on these so this isn't a terrible deal.
RRP is about $1199 or $1099. Not 100% sure. Its one of the best offer you can get on HP notebook now.
A Myer store I went to the other day was clearing a HP Notebook:
IntCore2Duo 2.4ghz
2gb ram
250gb hdd
Nvidia 128 dedicated
14.1" widescreen$998
I would much prefer to pay $200 more for this much better laptop (why buy old technology)!
JB Hifi has that computer for less.
cheap deal!
