No it can't… it's credit to Telstra, not Google.

Just tried it. It doesn't work because it counts as 'Bonus Cap Credit' and not 'Main Account Credit'.
To purchase via your Pre- Paid account you will need sufficient funds available from your main account balance to cover your purchase. You are not able to use your Bonus Cap Credit to purchase apps, books, movies or games.

I just received the cards… how do you activate them? There's no instructions.
I don't even know what the phone number for each card is.
activate through telstra website and you will get number. the activation code thing is on the sim card itself.
Ok so the credit is not "real credit" per se (that can go into a plan/android market spend), just $10 of standard credit (calls/text). Should have realised that - my own fault for sure.
However, must also note that the $10 seems to only last half a month, not the full 30 days.
Oh well, it was fun to test - and perhaps my second one will be useful if I go on another road trip to whoop whoop…

Ordeed 3, only received 1 this morning. The envelope was very flimsy and not sealed.
The one that I did get very easily falls out when the envelope is tilted, so I'm surprised this one even arrived. Very poor.
