What's more, we're open 'til 8pm on Australia Day (last entries 7pm), meaning guests can also hang around to enjoy amazing Australia Day family fireworks display here in Darling Harbour.

Kids tickets are $20? Sounds a bit exorbitant to me, $40 for adults is even worse!

    • Yes it quite true, you can have your own small aquarium at that price

Or a basic snorkel and mask set, which would be much more fun :)

Sounds like a bit of a bargain if you're a family and were thinking of going anyway. BTW this is the aquarium at Darling Harbour, people have told me it's good.

  • Is the NRMA deal time limited? If I buy the tickets can I use them in a couple of months time? I don't live in Sydney but go regularly so would be good to take the missus when we go next.

There's noting on the NRMA page to indicate this…

    • Offer valid for entry on 26, 27 and 28 January 2013

      Unfortunate

      • If you get the voucher, its valid for 12 months.

The limited entry option is when the child is free with any accompanied adult (full paid ticket). I got the voucher and its says its is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

      • @wholesaleturbos : That's the other offer. The Kids go free offer.

      • sweet even better!

    • I saw this at the bottom of my voucher. Hope it helps. * Vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue, this excludes attractions that have been booked for a specified date or where a valid to date is specified in.

      • excellent. Happy for it to be for 12 months…

  • Thanks. Just got the voucher.

This is normally available for $20 per person from Adrenalin

    http://www.adrenalin.com.au/sydney-aquarium-entry-for-2/nsw-…

    • Note, its for groups of 2

  • NRMA charging 2.5% Credit Card Processing Fees.

  • The merlin pass to all of sydneys, melbournes and underwater world in Qld for a year is only $80 per person at the moment. This is what I picked up when I was down there last week, saw madame tssuade a couple of times, both the aquariums, the sydney eye and the wildlife park a couple of times, good value.

I used this deal morning before seeing this post. Best price I could find, beats the $38 ticket if you walk up and buy there and the 'from $26' online price (link). The online price depends on what time of the day you go.

The aquarium is great, plenty of stuff to see and a sea life touching area too.
