Thanks for reply. Is it safe to buy from clone shop. I do not have much idea on Cline shop..
I would not buy from this shop. I ordered a tv turner card and received it a 1 1/2 weeks later, only to open it up and find out they sent the wrong one. I contacted them strait away and did not receive a response from them for 3 days. They forwarded me to the web login on there web site to initiate the return. but i was unable to process the return due to the fact they hadn't completely processed the transaction. It took another 2 day for this to happen. After processing the return order, they promptly declined the return without any reason and advised me to consult the return policy. I will be a first and last time customer to wacomputers
I totally agree with hotzy19. I made an order with this cowboy outfit as well, three weeks to tell me that the item was not in stock and was on back order another month away. You can not get hold of these people at all, no phone number, don't answer emails or there stupid online talk back section. Do not deal with this cowboy outfit whatsoever . A very bad experience, I could go on but enough said.
We are currently having a serious problem with WA Computers. They sent us an email telling us that something we ordered two weekends ago had been "shipped". That is now a week ago and we live in a suburb of Perth so it should have arrived within a day. We have emailed them via their website but to no avail. That seems to be the only way to attempt to contact them but they just ignore you. Luckily we paid for the item using Paypal so we think that we now have no recourse but to start the ball rolling to get our money back via them. The great thing is that once someone starts that process then the company involved ends up having their account with Paypal suspended until they meet stringent requirements, including repaying the money that Paypal has refunded to us as a result of lodging a claim dispute with them. Paypal are fantastic when it comes to this kind of thing so it is worth using them to make online payments if you can.
Paypal, don't suspend your account, just because you receive a dispute.
There are a lot of people who dispute transactions for the wrong reason, it's just a way the seller and buyer can resolve a situation.
You are right paypal are fantastic, if you're a buyer.
Hopefully you'll be sorted.
fungooleyruley, I bought a Car Dashboard Camera on Ebay, when I received it, it was damaged. I took photos of the damaged camera and sent them to the seller via email. The seller asked me to return the camera to the address the seller gave me. I hadn't heard from the seller for two weeks and asked him if he received the camera and he said he hadn't. He asked me to send a copy of the receipt I received from Aust Post as proof of sending it, which I did. I got an email from the seller a week later asking me the address I sent it to and told him the one that he supplied me. He then sent another email telling me that the address was incorrect and without the damaged camera he would not refund my money ($129). A dispute went to Paypal re the camera and the dispute was awarded in favour of the seller because he had not got the camera back. The seller admitted he gave me the wrong address to send it to and Paypal still refused to pay my money back. I am glad you did ok.
WA Computers are not cheap. I was going to buy a spindle of Verbatim DVD 95079 disc and they are priced at $17.50. I am 100klms from their shop and they want $17.50 postage. I used to buy the same disc from Qld, a box of 200 disc for $88 and $13.50 freight via AAE overnight and delivered to my door the next day.
It looks like everybody has had issues with this company (including myself)!
The company's Principal Place of Busuness is based in Lawnton Queensland!
The directors are also based in the Queensland suburbs of Brendale & Carseldine
I ordered a few things from wacomputers 2 days ago.
the first, and most expensive item, a gtx titan graphics card($1300) has arrived.
although its obvious they orders are dispatched from numerous locations, not Cannington. I have no complaint with my order.
ROFL, you bought a Titan. Next week the 290X comes out which is as fast … . for 650 or so in the US. Even with the Aussie tax, 1300 is RETARDED to pay for a GPU.
Hey ethereal88. you must be one of them f wits that think gpus are only for playing games.
I actually use it for work you twat.
Considering the prices of cards specifically made for CGI and cad($7000 for a quadro 6000) i think 1300 is a reasonable price.
Better to make sure you know what your talking about, before you post comments that make you look like an ignorant ass.
Anyway, this is a thread for people to share their experiences with wacomputers, not a gamer fanboy thread
I so wish I had seen this forum BEFORE I purchased from this company. I live one suburb away from their supposed location, and thought that buying a digital receiver from them would mean that I would receive it quickly. The website cites one to three days for orders, what they aren't saying is that they will wait three days to bother looking at your order. I have finally recieved an email today telling me that they have processed my order and it will take three to five days to recieve it. I have also noted that they repeatedly mention in all of their correspondence that you should wait until after five days to contact them for any issues. This won't be a problem, I won't be contacting them, nor will I be buying anything else from them.
Yep it's legit, matches up with their ABN
EDIT: It is a clone shop according to sources from Whirlpool. Links http://www.ausmedia.com.au/content/shopbot-com-au-scam-warni… & http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1907492
