Went to go get the cheap Bulla Ice-creams http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/91356 and saw people coming out with cartons of Pepsi Next, I headed to the back of the store (midday) and saw 2.5 pallets of Pepsi Next 1.25l at $0.59 per bottle.

It's not bad. The closest thing to full sugar Pepsi in terms of taste. Diet Pepsi is a little strange to me, and Pepsi Max tastes overly sweet. The best hydration is of course just plain water. I drink far more tea and coffee than soft drinks.

I think it's a strange niche in the soda market that doesn't have much of a following. To me, Next tastes as much of artificial sweetener as Pepsi Max. I'd rather go full sugar or no sugar, not 2/3 sugar with artificial sweetener - seems to be a waste of time
Pepsi Next's Sweetener isn't artificial.
Still must be a few people that haven't tasted it yet then :p
