Each parcel of grapes were fermented under cool conditions using different yeasts. Selected parcels were then blended to give a wine that is an expression of the vineyards it came from. It exhibits classic Marlborough characteristics, having a fruit style with a firm acid finish.
Made by one of NZ most recognised and top winemakers of Sauvignon Blanc the Lowlands is a complex wine with aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry and a hint of sweat. The palate has lively tropical fruitiness with underlying green capsicum teamed up with a nice minerality and racy acidity.
