  • ok… where in the catalogue does it say 10% off weberQ's?

    • I received this in an email - it doesn't start until the 17th so may not be online until then.

    • Was wondering the same thing…..

    • Sweet, how does one become a VIP

      • to become a VIP in Rays Outdoors eyes all you have to do is give them your name and details. You can do it online or in store at time of purchase.

To become an actual VIP is far more involved, PM me for the 12 steps.

  • perfect for my camping trip since there is a (understandably) massive fire ban everywhere.

Now.. is it worth getting the babyq for around $200.. anyone got an opinion?

    • 200 for a baby q is a really good price… you normally wont see it anywhere under 250

only downside is that its small and more suited for 1-2 people

  • Is the q305AU the same as this one at Masters which is $615 rather than the $699 at Ray's?

    • appears so. Although, if its 10% off the VIP price (which a lot of their sales are), then its $593.63.

Price match that at Masters and the extra 10% off and its $539.67

      • Good luck to anyone who tries to get it for that price at Masters. Would be interested to know if anyone is successful.

        • I did it last year when Rays had 26.5% off. Worked for me at 36.5% off

I want to get a few accessories this time around :)

  • I just rang Masters to see if they stock the Web Baby Q 100E which is the model that they have with the higher lid and the thermostat. They don't stock it. However they have the standard model. http://www.masters.com.au/product/900021814/weber-baby-q-sta…

I also confirmed with Masters their price matching policy. Essentially the item needs to be in stock at the store being price matched to. I would recommend working out which Ray's store has the model you want in stock and then let the service associate at Masters know so when they do the price match phone call, you are guaranteed a price match.

    • Mate - see my post before for sale on the Baby Q 100E

  • Discount is not off the VIP price, it's off the regular price - the Q305 is $629.10. The autoclub discount doesn't apply either. So price match with Masters is your best option to get these at a decent price.

  • Can someone explain how I can get the price match from masters If rays has the 305s for 629 and masters has them for 615?

are you trolling or drunk? its cheaper at masters so get from master, or ask rays if they can pricematch

  • Guys - I went to the Weber store at Camperdown yesterday. It appears just 10% off everything Weber for Member's - it is easy to join. In the store - at the moment the Q305 comes with an "12 piece BBQ Essentials Set valued at $149.95" which is in the current catalogue: http://catalogue.raysoutdoors.com.au/offer/barbeques-grills/… . Online however, it just says $629 without the set or $699 with the set but I think if you get it in store you MAY get it for $629 with the set.

However, note, Rays Outdoors is NOT a premium Weber dealer - I went in to get the Weber Family Q320 (just slightly different from the Q305) and they said only specialist stockists have it according to the Rays Outdoors salesman. I did a bit of a google and it seems that Hawkesbury Heating which stocks Weber products has a 10% off Weber sale which includes the specialist stockist products. http://www.hawkesburyheating.com.au/weber/weber-specialist-p…. Just called them up and guy seemed pretty friendly and they said they have the 10% off sale until the end of the month. Note, it is a bit of a hike to North Richmond but if you're spending a fair bit it may be worthwhile.

  • Wouldn't hurt to visit a specialist weber store. They won't usually budge on the unit itself however they will usually throw in accessories for free. I got a free pizza stone and tray and trivet. Didn't even have to bargain. They just offered it
