Just spotted that Woolworths in Frankston Karingal (closest to Cinema) had 4 tubs full of discounted items and in there we're loads of batteries and not just Duracell, the 10pk we're marked down from $13.50 to $5.40 and they also had 4pks for $3.00. i also noticed they had AAA Rechargebles Duracell and Eveready at cheap prices too.
Not sure if anyone's interested but i thought i'd share.

Rule of thumb for duracell is no more than 50c a battery. Supermarket usually has specials, 16 for $8
Woolworths in mayfield had a huge clearance tub. Looks like they may be ceasing to stock the brand. Picked up some cheapies so worth a look at your local. Cheaper than the deal above too.
