With there extras reset date being January 1. If you are churning in April from one that has an extras reset of July. When would you extra benefit limits reset?

Good. Essentially, the funds report how many days you were a member during the financial year.
Further, cancelling during the cooling off period results in your policy cancellation being backdated to the join date. You will be deemed to have been with the fund for 0 days.
