I was able to get my mine (and a sound bar/sub) for around this price by negotiating in store and using the 15% off gift cards. Took a lot of patience. Gift Cards are the key.
Me and a few others got the 85 c855 for $2100 delivered in October last year. So technically that is the ATL 😉

Don't know why people are negging this. 85" is tricky to move. Projector nowhere near as bright though
Tend to agree, whilst I own a home I intend on buying a short throw laser projector, sure it won’t have the deepest blacks but they are getting very very good and watching a 150” screen you soon forget

I picked up the display model at my local for $1788 with 5 years JB protect. I wanted to 85” but they said it’s been OOS since December and this price was hard to refuse
Yes. The guy at our local JB Hifi tild be 25-30% discount on gloor stock, but LEDs have certain lifespan which gets eaten up when continuously used in store.
The display models are usually cranked to extremely high brightness level too so that prematurely wears it out. Wonder if the JB extended warranty would cover it?
@Agret: Would have cover warranty since they officially sold it. I don't think it's an issue with modern TV's, quality has improved a lot. With TV's people do the research and go in and buy it, I don't see anyone playing with settings in store or even touching the display units.
Good price. I will be surprised if anyone can find any available at this price point after this.
