Heya fam, looking for router recommendations that'll do the job that's comparable to the GL.iNet Flint 2.
Everywhere I'm looking keeps recommending it for feature spec and value, but it's also sold out everywhere atm, and I'm kicking myself I didn't pull the trigger on the latest deal that was posted a week ago.
I just happened to upgrade to Buddy Telco's 1000/50 plan, and it's sweet! But I'm also currently powered by a hand-me-down Telstra Gateway Pro. Unsure if the speeds are getting split evenly between all the clients, but upon setup I initially had 500+ down, and after all the devices got back on, I'm at 90+ Mbps down per device.
I prolly don't know my networking very well, but I get the feeling my router is likely unable to process all that bandwidth, and I assume that an upgrade is what's necessary.
Currently live in a 2br apartment near the city, so I don't expect to need supremely great range, just good quality within 15 meters max. Do y'all have good reccs for a router that can process the bandwidth that can be found for 200 or less? Missus and I game a lot and stream heaps of shows, have quite the IoT setup going on too with smart lights/fans/etc, likely looking at 30-ish clients?
Would love to learn what I'm getting wrong and what other options y'all think are feasible!
