I bought a bunch of Airbnb gift cards (in AUD) for my brother who stays in USA. He is trying to add the gift cards but is unable to be added in his account.
Can anyone help me on how to circumvent this issue and book a room for him with these gift cards and whether or not it is possible for him to book AUD credits

AUD gift cards can only be uploaded to Airbnb accounts registered by Aus users (I think residents). There are GCs issued for residents of other countries in their respective denominations.
Technically, you're not allowed to book on behalf of someone else either, albeit in practice I've seen plenty of users do it - by 'adding' the other individual to the booking.

I don’t think you need to AirBnB stays in El Salvadorian deportation gulags. Flights are also free too I believe.

Basically your AU gift cards can only be loaded into a AU account. Your brother has a US account.
So you can load them into your account and book the room for your brother.
Or your brother can create a second account but in AU, load them, book it etc.
Or your brother can change their account to AU and load them in, book it, (not sure if airpoo allows this).
