The filter costs upward of $300, probably not worthwhile for a small living area as the filter replacement cost would render this purifier unviable for most.

TruSens Performance Series Air Purifier Z-6000

Cleaner Air in Extra Large Spaces
More power where you need it most. TruSens Performance Series Z-6000 Air Purifiers are recommended for spaces up to 163m2 at 2 air changes per hour (ACH). PM2.5 Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) value of 880 m3/h is ideal for large professional spaces such as classrooms, offices, conference rooms, and businesses.
Reduce Airborne Virus Exposure
The dual-sided, combination True HEPA filter captures airborne viruses and bacteria, including 99.99% of airborne coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in your indoor space. Activated carbon captures volatile organic compounds (VOCs ), while the TRU-BEAM UV-C light inactivates viruses and bacteria trapped on the True HEPA filter. Results from independent third-party testing using aerosolised airborne concentration of human coronavirus 229E over a two-hour period in a sealed 30m3 test chamber. HCoV-229e is a well-established surrogate for SARS-CoV-2
Easy Maintenance, Efficient Operation
No installation required. Simply plug in the TruSens Air Purifier and it’s ready to work. Each air purifier comes with filters specially designed to last at least 1 year, operating 12 hours per day, under typical operating conditions, and a UV-C light designed to last for the life of the air purifier. Casters make it easy to move the air purifier from one area to another.
Know Your Air Quality
Know your air quality with enhanced SensorPod and the air quality display. SensorPod measures particulate matter (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the air, communicating real-time readings back to the air purifier. The air quality display on the front of the air purifier reflects the readings from SensorPod with a colour-coded ring and air quality number, with details on particulate matter (PM) and VOCs.

  • No wifi in these right?
Tempting for the sheer performance given my Philips filters cost $130

  • Why do i need to purify aussie air?

I don't know, why is hayfever a thing in Australia?

    • If you live in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane air quality is often not good.
PM 2.5 is the one to care about.

Plus some houses are dusty, especially if you live near major roads.

A new filter is $300? Okay, so this is literally just single use e-waste.
Also why does one of the images show ‘LEITZ’ branding whilst another shows ‘TruSens’?

    • You will find some other market in the world has this thing under Kensington, they are all ACCO brands. :D
how to get aftermarket filters has been posted on other thread.

  • Each air purifier comes with filters specially designed to last at least 1 year, operating 12 hours per day, under typical operating conditions,

So if you use it less then you get extended filter lifespans.

  • First world problems

  • how noisy is this?

  • I recently got it from last deal from EBay $142. I didn't expect it to be huge. But it does the job well. On whisper mode its barely noticeable. Low fan speed is fine but audible at night time. Only thing i wish is if the air sensor had a better range and work with few hallow wall obstruction.

  • I'm surprised these companies can get away at selling them for the price they do!

    https://asterix.net.au/product/trusens-z6000-performance/ - $1599.99
    https://melbourneofficesupplies.com.au/trusens-z6000-perform… - $1469.70

BigW has 2 listings for potentially the same product .. but the images for the more expensive unit seem to be slightly different.
    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/trusens-z6000au-performance-… - $1589.95
    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/trusens-z6000-performance-ai… $152.10

The TruSens website only lists one z6000 model so I'm not sure where the second z6000au comes from :/

    • Corp/gov contract on auto re-order.

I mean, it's a massive unit and dont think it is not worth the $1k mark. But most commercial ducted system has a similar filtration embedded and COVID is yesterday (what the general public believes), so excessive stock?

    • Any machine that does similar performace is over $1k in Australia. No need to be surprised, and that's why this machines currently sold by KG is a bargain.

  • filters not washable?
