Free Sample of Coffee from Team Legends

62

<MOD: Warning — This Free Sample might be related to Multi-Level Marketing. See comment here>

The link to the free sample is on the right side of the page.

There are some apparent health benefits to this coffee which are most likely bogus but it's still some free coffee. From the website:

"With the introduction of SereniGy ganoderma coffee, customers find that the word “healthy” isn’t something to turn your nose up at. In fact, people start to crave SereniGy ganoderma coffee due to its industry leading taste, and the fact that it delivers a real health benefit that can’t be touched by any other coffee company, and certainly not by regular coffee consumption."

  • Thanks, checked out the FB page and it looks legit and Australian.

    • Yeah, it certainly seems like a legit Australian company. They probably should have put more focus on the actual product on their website rather than how much sales and money they are going to make. Just my opinion.

      • Yeah I think it's more a reseller/lead website then a "company." Either way free coffee! :P

  • Where do I put the address for them to send the sample to?

    • +1

Just in details I assume :)

      • That's where I put it too.

  • How do they deliver it to you when they don't ask for an address on the form? Are we in for a hard sell when the rep contacts us as promised after submitting?

  • +1

Our second mission is to help the average person to improve their financial situation by providing them with a real, achievable, integrity lead home based business where they actually receive support and can actually earn real income.

    Herbalife?

    • +1

      Poor man's Herbalife :)

    • +1

Sounds good enough reason for a neg.
That free sample is going to cost too much.

      • Ten seconds of your time to answer the phone and lie that you didn't like the coffee and don't want to sell it? In that case put a fake number.

        • +2

          Yeahhh still not worth it.

        • Umm… they have your address!
The local team leader is likely to pop round, especially if they can't phone you.

If you say you don't like their coffee (may not be a lie), bet they move onto their next product they want you to sell.

  • +1

    Not touching this one!

"Disclaimer: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration."

That's not something your average Australian company would be too concerned about. I think free coffee is just the way into having contact with leads.

    • That is pretty much the basis for all free samples.

      • +1

But this one smells of full on marketing of their other "goods" rather than any genuine coffee merchant. Check out the infomercial style testimonials.

    • Strange disclaimer for an "Australian" business!
      Seems MLM transplanted from USA.
Which it is - just google!

You buy coffee at $18, sell $27, plus pick up commission from the team you build, according to one review.
They will try to make money out of you .
Would not give them my details - who knows what they will do with them.

  • regret submitting this form now!! rushed through it as it sounded interesting and provided real phone number. grr

  • +1

The website music made it sound like I was getting the James Bond of coffee

No deal! closed the browser as soon as I saw that video playing.

  • MMM nothing like mushroom coffee…

  • +1

I put my misses contact details in for this one. Probably not gonna keep me in the good books if telemarketers start calling her.

  • HAHAHAH The video on this site is amazing!! They are selling that "energy band" thing that does absolutly nothing. Some much bull! I love it!!

  • Just received an email saying that they have to call me and gather more information before sending me out the free coffee. Looks like I couldn't just get the coffee and ignore the calls.

    • Poor form. Will be avoiding this company!
Can you respond and say no longer interested and remove details?

    • +1

they just call and ask which 2 flavours your after - and whether your interested in a business position or just the coffee

  • +1

    no go dead deal

" Due to the overwhelming demand in our free samples we are now putting the free samples on hold in order to provide outstanding customer service to those who have requested our samples. Check back with us often as we will be offering other specials in the near future!"

    • meaning - Due to this deal, they have too many leads for their MLM sales teams to organise presentations for ("provide outstanding customer service to those who have requested"). Just google the product to learn about their MLM tactics, before giving your details.

  • i got a phone call from them today - did anyone else?

    • nope, but thanks for headsup will not be answering any calls from unknown number
