      Othordox!

    • Yep, 50$ per 1kg (not include the shipping fee). Thanks

Hate St Ali since their covid antics

  • I used to drink this as my daily.

Really nice (Orthodox) but its expensive and hard to get for me so I've changed over to something diff.

    • what did you change to? I've been buying inglewood Sunset Blvd, but noticed in my last couple of batches, a drop in quality - so not sure if i'll go back again

      • Limeblue are probably my favourite of the OzB coffee deals.

OP, if you're reading this - if you want to fly on OzB it really has to be between $25-35/kg for conventional beans and still under $50 for something exceptional.

        • wasn't a fan of the Limeblue (tried the Brazil São Paulo Single Origin)

      • I use the house blend from Reformatory Labs that I can get at my local. It's pretty close to Orthodox but I haven't settled on a new favourite.

I have a Lime Blue order that just came in yesterday (Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, as per 87percent above) but I haven't tried it yet.

    Where's a bargain here?

    • Hi there, you can see the price on St Ali website. It is near 70$/kg

      • They're less comparing this to other prices of St Ali, and more to the price other beans people find nice.

And personally, I find St Ali a bit lacking character.

    $50 for a bag of coffee ?
And it's on bargain site ?
    Piss off.

    • +1

      How much is the piss?

      • $1

      • It's off, I wouldn't pay a penny for it.

    • How much if the piss is turned on

      • If it turns you on, maybe 50 for a bag is acceptable.

Still have to pay shipping on top? Yeah no deal and no bargain here.

Not really worthy of a post on Aus number 1 bargain website. More like just using OzB for free advertising.

Plenty of other popular coffee stores post deals for less.

$50 per kg, not arguing there is not a market at this price point
but definitely wrong arena for the exposure, no deal :/

    • +3

Agree. $50 I’d rather spend a bit more and just get some small batch local independent beans

      • +1

I’d rather spend a bit more

        I'd rather spend a bit less….

        • Well yeah, I do rate the like blue ones at like $29 /kg pp

Sometimes it’s nice to support a local independent too tho

  • $50 for month-old beans? Nah.

    • Freshly roasted beans (only in April/2025)

      Am I missing something?

      Current date: 15th April, 2025

      • Oops! Got a little ahead of myself.

    • Normally the supplier delivers 7 day-old coffee to the shops. My roasted date is 9/04/2025

  • Oh man seems pretty high, For the same price i jumped on the inglewood deal. Basically got 1kg + 500g for the same price as this delivered.

    • :((
