Keeps increasing, it was good when sale price was like $12

        • It was $9.99 back in 2003.

No South Australia make me sad :(

    • +11

It's helping SA stay underweight and diabetes free

      • +2

yes SA government is helping people not eat naughty donuts ;)

        • +1

nope, the friendly pals at Peregrine corp

    • Perhaps Border Village Roadhouse can start selling KK, make it a road trip to Great Australian Bight.

    • The SA store is not owned by the mega corp, it's an independently owned store, using the same name. We have no official Krispy Kreme store here. Nothing wrong with the SA store, been there many times, just not the same promotions as the rest of the country

but i just started a 21 day challenge diet :(

    • +1

      stay strong :)

      • +1

@prankster or start it the day after Wed ;-)

    • +2

      They freeze well ive heard?

      • +1

oh not sure putting KK donuts in the freezer then assuming heating in microwave - doesnt sound like it would be as fresh.. anyone done this before?

        • +4

          10secs on HIGH.

Tried them side by side with fresh to compare in a blind test and couldn’t tell the difference

          • @freeb1e4me: THIS!!!
they use to have it as suggestion on the side of the box
It then tastes the same as the fresh one they hand you in store.

            But glaze gets messy, FLG

    • Whats this 21 day challenge? Is it similar to abstinence?

      • lol wifey local gym comp, she just roped me in so i want to support. first time trying a challenge so just want to be good this time round :)

        • Lol Nice! Good luck!

          Good on you!

Just curious how clean she eats, for 21 days? is it like ronnie coleman level cleaness?

          • @ATTS: bahahaha had to search this ronnie guy but nope i won't be looking or aiming to be like that

just eating healthy will be the goal :)

            • @prankster: Lol , nice.

Yeah that ronnie guy apparently he went crazy eating clean for a whole year and only had one cheat meal in a year when he won a mr olympia lol

            • @prankster: He is only the greatest bodybuilder of all time :)

    • Why not exercise after eating Doughnuts? Burn the calories and change the sugar into energy ;-)

The key is physical activities most of the time, not just sit down and lay down all day … At least walk faster (brisk walking), walk through the stairs, jogging maybe.

I can eat whatever I want without worrying about getting fat, diabetes, high blood pressure or whatever ;-)

      • +3

Yeah. Since picking up running one year ago I’m down 25kg and can eat as I please without getting fat. And feel much better too. Still important to eat well, but nice to enjoy a treat now and then.

      • +1

Metabolic rate decreases as you get older, and from memory back in my uni days it peaks at 25 and decreases from there on.
The concept of eating whatever you want without worrying would apply when you are younger. For most, generally diet is the better way of maintaining weight

        • +1

yeah i miss smashing the buffets when i was young lol

  • +2

Well, that's my breakfast sorted. Cheaper than a full english.

  • +6

Damn, cost of living has hit KK if they are no longer $12 for 12 anymore.

can you order online for future date pickup? Thinking Mother's Day

  • Ultra-processed goodness!

  • I still remember those $11 dollar / dozen days :(

  • Can I combine this deal with a 2-for-1 entertainment coupon?

It says nothing about a service charge

Who is glazing all these donuts it's disgusting

    • If you go into one of the bigger store you see that
      'No One' glazes these donuts.

  • Can we combine this with bogof from entertainment book or nrma?

  • If you’re a student, you can get them for $15 through StudentEdge.

    • +3

Students are rich these days….they can pay 5cents more

  • Haha , SA people should be happy to be excluded from these…lol
Personally, I find them disgusting, but I know there are people who love them so all yours!

  • The day I’m at work, I can’t wait to spoil the office and eat all 12 for myself

    • It's better to share the doughnuts, different level of happiness. Happy alone vs happy together … Others maybe jealous and think negative about you … Or worst office politics.

I'm surprised at the number of upvotes, considering actual price (online) is $16.45. Title needs to be updated to reflect this.

  • Can someone report that the surcharge has been removed? I emailed them.. Its taken off

  • What's with SA exclusion?
