      yeah deal breaker for me

      • I very much regret not getting the honda mclaren polo before. Anyone know if they will discount it again

    • +1

now you can look like the real deal.

      in your camry.

      • Or Outlander

        • Yes, Outlander seems to be ahead of Camry in Australia in terms of best value for money at least until the price hike after Covid

        DREAMER ⁉️

  • Hi Op, do you know if those shirt true to size or american size? Thanks

    • +1

Got a few last sale for my son in the shell and walkinshaw and they were true to size.

  • +15

Streaming services: pay to not listen to/watch ads
This shirt: pay to wear ads

    • +6

true but applies to most sporting teams merchandise

      • +14

And the car you drive unless you de badge it. Most people seem happy to leave those stupid number plate frames with dealerships names on them.

        • +4

absolutely & a rear window sticker, always the first things I remove

          • @Irishness: How else are people going to know that my car has a 7 Year Warranty?

            • @dojomojo: well if it's LDV then you should know it's worthless, better buying 2 of them & keeping one for parts

    • Make sure you tuck in all your labels

    • +2

lol, I was thinking the same. Why am I paying to advertise another company/s ?

      • +1

if you think about it a lot of t-shirts have big company names on them and people are so used to it and pay for it.

    • -7

      i already made similar comment

      • +6

You sure have. The truth hurts and people down voted us equaly.

        • -7

You got down voted for your stupidity. Your car probably has a badge on it your phone probably has a brand icon on it so does your wallet but you come in here to cry. It's laughable. I'm guessing the appliances in your home including your air conditioning if you have it? have the brand on it?

You would hate to see my fishing shirts with all the sponsors involved

          • +5

@Sammy Boi: You're absolutely right. My car brand is Red Bull and phone brand is Ampol. Speaking of a wallet, I don't have one. I use my Ampol phone to pay for everything including typing this sentence RIGHT. NOW. Lol

          • +7

@Sammy Boi: Actually I don't believe it is the same thing . You're comparing branding for the product, not a sponsor. It would actually be more like buying a car with a giant Red Bull sticker on the side.

I'm my opinion buying something with a sponsor logo is the laughable thing.

              • +1

@Sammy Boi: Hold up. A Red Bull logo is supporting… Red Bull. If you wanted to support the sport, surely it would be an F1 logo or whatever the equivalent is.

My opinion is the same for sporting apparel. It seems bizarre to include the sponsor.

                • -2

@swhitmore: FYI Redbull is an F1 team :)

You know the same team that has won 4 driver championships in a row

Kind of proves that you've wondered into a thread that really isn't relevant to yourself even though this isn't F1 apparel.

Some examples if you follow football a.k.a. FIFA you don't buy a shirt with FIFA on it you buy one with your team on it

Same thing goes for NRL/NFL/NHL/NBA/AFL. pretty much any sport unless you're supporting a country

                  • @Sammy Boi: If you look at the NBA, sponsors are barely visible. Wearing F1 shirts with all the sponsors is egregious.

              • +2

@Sammy Boi: Last time I checked my comments and opinions did not have offensive words nor targetting any individuals. Have you checked yours?

                • -5

@huntingforbargainz: The difference is I don't step into threads on websites to share an unwonted opinion.

You see a shirt with sponsors on it and you can't scroll past?

You clearly don't comprehend why they are there or why the people that actually follow the sports understand why they are there so you're wasting your time commenting on something you don't really comprehend.

                  • +3

@Sammy Boi: But those people are mature and you are not. I don't see people flooding the thread with offensive words when they don't like what they see.

                    • -4

@huntingforbargainz: Maybe you should grow a set if you found anything I said offensive. Grown-ups don't go into random threads that have nothing to do with them just to make their opinion known. And they don't have profile pictures like yours LOL. It's like your profile picture is advertising a bootleg version of Pikachu

                      • +1

@Sammy Boi: Read my previous comment. I rest my case.

                        • -4

@huntingforbargainz: This is a bargain website not the parliament open house. If you're not interested in the product there's no need for you to even click on it but you did so deal with it :)

                          • @Sammy Boi: The irony of coming on here high and proud and telling what this is and what this and isn't and getting each of your comments down voted while the other guys comments are being up voted by the community.

All good if you own this site… But if you don't you know what to do.

        • -2

These comments do follow the $hit show that is Red Bull…

    • $90?… for a collared T without a pocket.

    • +8

I normally don't wear any logo shirts etc. But i did buy one of these to get in the spirit for Bathurst day to stay home, drink beer, bbq and watch the race! Full bogan for at least one day a year :)

  • Perez gear is cheaper isn't it

    • -1

This is not F1 apparel but I get the joke. Terrible driver compared to max

  • +2

Hate how other fans see you wear a shirt like this and wants to engage you and talk about F1…when I am really just a bargain hunter that doesn't really care for Daniel Ricardo.

    • +5

Bargain hunters don't pay $20+ship for a polo. Go to Connor, or if you're cheap go to kmart

      • -1

        Bargain \= cheap

    • +3

Maybe don't buy F1 apparel then. You can get cheaper polos with a pocket and avoid those conversations

      • Not an F1 shirt.

    • But I like the logos and colours.

      • Then why comment and complain? those logos you like are the sponsors that represent companies involved in the sport.

        • Thanks Sherlock.

  • +1

$18.65 shipping to Adelaide 5950, no thanks

    • $10.95 to QLD

    • +1

Strange considering it’s $10.95 to country WA, and WA gets royally f***ed on majority of deals that will be free shipping to every state apart from us (oh and NT..) and just won’t deliver here at all.

  • +6

This isn't F1 apparel got confused at first.

Message to the people that come in here to go blah blah blah blah blah advertising are you getting paid to advertise.

Unless you're wearing clothes with no branding this applies to everything else.

Make sure you tuck in the brand thats on the label on the back of your shirt. you would hate for somebody to see what you're wearing

  • -1

I think this is an advertising polo, so, it should be free ;-)

  • Shipping kills it

  • If you pay more they will remove some advertising for you

  • +2

SIGNUP5 for 5% off first order.

  • +2

Hi Op, could you check when I added more than 1, it become $27 each (not $20)

    • Ah crap, i didn't notice. Paid 27 each for two. Boo.

    • Yeah that is disingenuous :/

  • +1

    Walking billboard

    • -3

      You're driving around in a billboard…

      • +2

There is a difference between on subtle logo and a car plastered with 50 brands. I'd rather drive a "billboard" than a patchwork of ads.

        • Pretty sure that shirt has like four brands on it? that are sponsors? that's a bit shy of 50. The moral of the story is weather you wear or drive it if it's got a logo it can be considered that you're advertising in your terminology. I will say the back of the polo is pretty gross. sponsors on sleeves with the main brand on the back would be a lot cleaner.

  • Shipping is a deal breaker unfortunately.

  • +1

Wear one of these and drive a gold 2000 model Camry 👌👌

  • +1

Almost bought it till I saw the billboard on the back, gross

  • Nice pricing, shame about the brand.

Now where can I find a high yield BMW Motorsport polo for $20

  • A very ugly polo. Before someone jumps in and says I drive a billboard, i don't. But I do go in cheap public transport covered in billboards.
Also there are options with a subtle single logo and that's better.

  • How's the fit of these? True to size or on the tight side?

  • +4

I don't follow Red Bull Ampol racing and won't buy the shirt. But to everyone dissing it for being a walking billboard, I will say that I have bought other team merch in the past (still have my Lowndes polo) and I don't mind the sponsor's logos. They're the ones putting the money in that allow teams to go racing and I'm happy to support by wearing team merch.
Come to think of it, I still have my Marlboro Holden Dealer Team jumper stashed away.

  • The logos on the back are gigantic.

With a RRP of $90 thought the logos were screen printed (or slight chance may be embroidered), turns out they are heat transferred.

  • +1

Finding the different logos/sponsor stickers fell off easily on my DJR shirts, think they're the same manufacturer.

Likewise with the Castore rubbish the McLaren shirts are made of.

I've been finding more and more supporter wear has deteriorated. Footy jerseys used to have embroidered logos, but they are all iron on patches now.

  • Would of purchased with just Red Bull branding cause I’m a red bull fan, not looking to be a walking advertisement for everything else that I don’t care for

  • Clever idea to advertise and get paid as well!
The fan base is a milking cow for these corporates.

  • -7

This shirt ONLY has ads on it.
Generally, if it's a sports team shirt you buy, at least that normally has the team name and logo on it. In this instance, even that's an ad.

  • As the saying goes, there are two sorts of people in the world, people who divide other people into two sorts of people, and people who don't.

But seriously, there are two sort of people in the world, people who are willing to pay more for something because of the brand, and if its an item of clothing with an advert for that brand on it wear it because it does, and people who have no loyalty to brands. Brands that label their product conspicuously with their logo don't seem to understand that. They think we're all Americans.

  • Might not be a great buy. Ampol racing is only using Chevrolet's until the end of this season. Next year will be Ford which kind of makes this a bit dated
