I have a query regarding Shopback cashback with Trip.com, but I have searched a lot for this answer and I could not find anything. Also, their internal help-centre will take 48-hours to respond, but there's a currently a good, upsized cashback going on for flights, which I want to take advantage of.

Trip.com — Upsized cashbacks

Domestic China Flights - 0.2%
My query is what constitutes as a "Domestic China Flight" ?
Is it a flight ticket in ONE BOOKING which starts AND finishes inside China ?
or
is it any component of the flight ticket in ONE BOOKING, that contains a 'domestic' flight segment, will reduce the cashback?
Example:
(1) Sydney → Shanghai → Kunming
(2) Sydney → Guangzhou → Beijing → Doha
(3) Dubai → Xian → Xiamen
Would all of these 3 x examples, qualify as a "non-domestic China flight ticket" ?
In examples (1) and (3), the originating country is not China, but there are domestic connecting flights inside China.
In Example (2), there are 2 x domestic flights within the booking, but start AND destination are not China.
By the way, If buying with Citi credit card, the discount is 5% and the frequent flyer point accumulation is Citi points, eg. $2.6 = 2.6 points per 1 Velocity points [VFF], whereas going through Trip.com, I could use a Virgin Flyer credit card and the points accrued is $1 = 1 VFF (capped at $1500 for the month).
PS:
I have already used the 5% Citi offer already this year, and thinking if I can use it again? (that's another topic altogether!)
I am not ShopBack, and you should be asking them, but any ticket that has a location outside the country is not a 'domestic' flight.
All three of those should be "non-domestic China flight tickets".
Make sure you check cost booking direct, as sometimes cashback scheme prices are inflated as we have seen on other posts.
