Just search Facebook marketplace, in a few years there will be loads of Switch 2s. Then get a Time Machine and come back and give it to yourself today. Easy peasy.
Get a kogan credit card with $300 credit included - https://koganmoney.com.au/credit-cards/
Buy gift cards at 5% off for remainder (I use reward gateway, but there are other places)
Buy from here with free shipping - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/nintendo-switch-2-console-mario…
Close credit card$749 - $300 - 22.45 = 426.55 out of pocket.
*When you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in 90 days from Card approval†
True. But that gets you an extra 3000 points which is $30 credit so $396.55 out of pocket.
But still $396.55 be when OP spend $3000 and end of 90 days, so you spend more to save more lol
@boomramada: True but if you're going to spend the money anyway (which most adults would do with regular bills etc) then it's a nice reward.
Obviously don't spend $3000 you weren't going to spend just to save $330. that's a poor financial choice.
Then again spending any money on a switch 2 is also a poor financial choice
This is good but required pre-planning which I did LOL
I posted this deal when kogan credit card bonus was $400 in Dec 2024
It's not going to be much cheaper at launch. You're best off waiting for sales in a few months but it'll probably staying power and won't drop by much
V1 best chance to sail the high sea
I hope I am wrong for the benefit of those who wait, but Nintendo products barely and almost never go on discount on the first few years of release. I bought it on pre-sale using discounted gift cards from JB HiFi from Macquarie only because I already had JB HIFI gift cards. EB Games gift cards on Macquarie are 7% off - but as I understand, EB Games run out of the bundle already.
You just know there will be an OLED model released just before xmas…
