I got a Gen5Detect for 830 last weekend. Not a good deal.
yeah I got a Gen5Detect for $770 and a Gen5outsize complete for $820 last BF from Dyson.
Wow! I'm very envious of that deal.
If only my household appliances could break in timing with major sales days…
and the best price is not on the early access day. The best price for the Dyson website is from Friday to Monday. And the best cashback is on Saturday. I bought on Friday. Otherwise, I could have saved $20 for the Gen5outsize complete, but then it would have ended up being $800. I bought the Gen5Detect too early in the Month, and then I returned it.
Indeed, Don't think we will see those prices again until BF this year.
the dust bin on these is very small
But it might be light and be more useful. The full size gen5detedt is too heavy and we had to return it. Chose V8 for ease of use and good value for money. Was half price compared to these.
Dyson V8 refurbished (sold by Dyson) for $305 on ebay currently, or $286.70 with ebay plus.

yeah some are just too big/heavy, I'd say the V10 is good it's got the better designed bin without the electronic display, had a known weak trigger issue but I think this has been updated
