  • Received my Nest Doorbell yesterday, managed to setup in Google Home App, however it's not showing up in the Nest App though. Anyone facing this problem?

    • Doesn’t use nest anymore. App is being discontinued and everything on Google home now

You will need physical id to collect from the post office. Vic Roads app will not be accepted.
Just tried to collect mine. Victoria.
The auspost email suggests that NSW and SA accept digital DL, and that a auspost digital id is accepted. But I got a flat no at the counter from 2 staff members.

    • I've had this also, so freaking annoying

    • Also don't expect smoothly to identify Uber eats driver with alcohol delivery with Vicroads app, QR code doesn't work and it's frustrating for Uber eats delivery partner. I picked up to deliver 2 out of 5 occasions on March and I could help them by putting manually but wasting so much time. please carry physical ID card in Victoria.

i haven't had problems using vic roads digital license picking up from post office

    • no issues picking up with digital id today, nsw

    • Mine went straight to my parcel locker as I have indicated on the Optus addy to deliver it there

No issues when picking mine up

  • I sent it to my parents place but they didn’t give them the parcel and took it to the post office. Also didn’t give them the parcel at the post office either. I never had this before, seriously guys?

If you purchased this under your name then you have to collect it by yourself as they need to see your ID.

    • If it’s StarTrack, and if it’s what I suspect it could be, Optus could’ve used Airlock delivery, which means that the addressee needs to match the ID

There’s no other way unfortunately if you have addressed it with your name to your parents place

      • Yeah it looked like they needed the last 4 digits of my id, but thankfully my parents’ post office is open on Saturdays.

  • Has anyone not received their order yet? I tried contacting Optus (which has been a nightmare) but they can't find my account as I made one just to buy this.

    • Same here. But I have a NBN account and have received refund today.

    • Came pretty quick (1-2 days after order in Perth) and it was at the post office and picked up today

  • The Ring Cams are good value for the batteries alone, brought a set.

  • Google Nest Doorbell Battery - now OOS

  • So got notification that the nest doorbell battery is low yesterday, that means I got just over 2 weeks on a charge

    • There is a setting to reduce recording quality and frequency to increase the battery life.

      • I have the sensitive all the way down and recording length down to 15 sec or something

  • They must have had a lot of stock

    • most of the popular items are out of stock though
