Been waiting for these to go on sale, Myer has them for I think $350 (and that's with a 20 or 30% off sale). Amazon.it are doing it for $162 (EUR81 excl VAT + EUR49 shipping = EUR130) shipped (xe.com exchange rate) so may be around $170 after factoring in all the transaction or handling charges. Great versatile wok that comes with its own steamer tray thing and a glass lid, induction compatible too. Only thing not sure is warranty but for less than half the sale price here I'm ready to forgo it if it doesn't have international warranty.

    ive been looking for a stainless wok for steaming etc for a while now, theres this one on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/150963117212. after a couple of to and fro price offers they finally ended on $35 plus $18 delivery.

    is the extra 5cm worth the extra couple hundred bucks? (my link is in aus too apparently)

    I paid double the money for this at Myers so called sale. This is diet cheap and fissler products quality is second to none.

    Why is it worth paying so much for a steamer, let alone a fryer wok?

      Basic maths really. It is common knowledge in the professional cooking scene that the more you pay for steam the better the cooking result.

      I think the above price is already without VAT (Amazon checkout shows the excluded VAT price). It's EUR98 with VAT (EUR81 without).

    nice i am big bleave in you get what u pay for. wok is just the same i own top line cook where i can can tell u never burn a think and it dose not ages like cheep stuff.

    Go have a look in myer. They are awesome. Very well made. Lots of Asians can't be wrong. Lol. Having said that I haven't used mine yet.
