Seems like a good price for a good rc truggy, metal construction reads promising as my late wltoys 12427 had a broken plastic part which I couldn't unscrew to replace with a metal replacement part. So this seems like good future proofing as these generate more force than plastic can handle apparently.

I don't, but from past experience just order a 2S LiPo from aliexpress/ebay, after you have the car you can measure the maximum dimensions of the battery compartment so you'll be able to fit the largest capacity possible for the truggy - extending fun run time
Ovonic 7.4V 50C 1500mAh 2S fit well. 'Decent' enough brand, cheap via ebay. Get a better charger and dont use the USB one with the car.
Bought those batteries (with Ovonics basic charger, good enough but theres plenty of better options) as extras for this car at xmas time. Was trying to find that specific battery on ali-express, only have the 1550 at 4S. weird :|
was thinking it would be cheaper to purchase from china with all the rest of the stuff. The 2S Zeee shorty on eBay fits in original compartment with functiona latch with room to spare.
Please suggest a charger too
X2mini is what I got to charge my boys 2 batteries in 1hr total.
70 kms /hr π³
not for the kids
60km/hr for this model, but you can trim the throttle on the remote, it can go pretty slow if you choose
My 4 year old manages. Loves it.
Faster than most electric scooters π
@rxjb
Thank you
I see US $61.46 for the 16208 and 16209.. are they both just different colors?
208 is a clipless body, 10/10 would recommend for kids. I got a 208 and 209 and have gone through 10+ clips with the 209, only replaced the clip on the clipless body once (3d printed at home) and printed a spare ready to go.
Get a metal body clip for about $6 delivered through Ali… Agree with losing the little metal clips on the other one constantly.
You mean y'all don't just steal some bobby pins from your wife/girlfriend/yourself (or buy a pack of 25 for $2) and cut them halfway with pliers…..
I remember playing with these 25 years ago. It used to be called a Tmaxx and it cost my mum like $1500 to buy from Hobbyco (These RC cars used to be mega expensive back then) and I used it for like 1 week before I got bored of it. Ahhh, good times.
Those level cars still exist today (Xmaxx, Arrma), and still cost that level of dosh.
I have one, which I bought locally after I received a fake one on AliExpress.
Three one I received was just a different cheap you, not RC quality, but I wonder why the pictures they use for the motor, ESC, receiver and servo don't have any branding or look the same.
There's even one of them with a green motor (which I'm 100% they don't come with, and it's just a generic motor)I got severe downgrade too π
any one know if this can run a 3s battery? thanks
The second option model 16207 runs a 3S battery, a couple of $ more
They come with 2s but are 3s capable. Only diff between the 207 and 208,9,10 is the battery supplied. Same internals.
I bought a 207.. Only a few $ more. I have enough trucks. The code basically cancels out the GST. If you want a cheap charger for these, grab an Imax B6AC. The USB one that comes with these is junk.
If anyone receives as advertised, can they please post back here, Even though will be expired, got burned by Ali on last Rc purchase, sent a garbage Rc, which was proof enough not to refund, and same with PayPal, good luck to those who buy, may try again next time if some get the legit purchase, tiaβ¦
Can you see how to add extra battery?
