  • ok deal, if u really need one right now. At this price I expect it to be at least a top model.

Since when msrp is a deal !
Buy at MSRP, the price always stays at msrp.

    • well find me a 5090 at MSRP smart ass
comments like this are pointless….you are pointless

This is ozBARGAIN not ozMSRP anyone posting anything at or above msrp, just because it is in stock (especially this one where they've bumped up the price), has got this website all wrong.

        • +1

This isn't even an MSRP card, it's a $1139 card.

    • MSRP stays at MSRP.
Price is set by the sellers

  • big upgrade over a 3070ti?

    • it's not too far from a 5070ti I think?

      • +1

Indeed. It's also more stable than the 5070 Ti and if you undervolt it, the performance increases a bit too according to the interwebs.

    • Upgrading from my RTX 3080 so your answers right there.

So prices go up and it's considered a deal now?

    • +4

It's like Xbox Series X during COVID.

The fact it's in stock is a deal to those that want the stock/inventory and are willing to pay for it.

  • +9

Great Card If you can wait, MSRP is $1139 Reaper

  • If anyone wants these new cards, keep an eye out on marketplace. I managed to find 2 a few days after launch at RRP and continue to see new ones listed at RRP.

    • +2

Who would be buying these cards just to flip them on marketplace for the same amount. Makes no sense

      • Some scalpers probably weren't able to sell to those willing to pay their outrageous prices.

Furthermore, they may be susceptible to a restocking fee of 10%, meaning they'd lose money potentially.

But as you said, why would you purchase a used one online without warranty or proof of purchase :|

      • At least for the 2 I managed to purchase, both wanted a different card but were out of stock, so they purchased the one in stock instead and waited for the one they wanted. Ive seen a few more listed at rrp. it's a pain in the ass to make sure I wasn't getting scammed and the card fully works before I took it. Luckily both of my cards were legit and came with receipts.

      • a friend is a reseller and usually if he cant get a deal, he'll try to move things on at market rate to reduce his losses

  • So tempting, but don't want to be forced to pay above MSRP

If it were $1199 delivered I'd probably pull the trigger.

I'm going to give AMD an opportunity to come good on their promise of more stock coming at MSRP.

    • +2

Yeah same. In a few months they will have stockpiled enough cards of each brand to lower costs back to msrp.

  • I need the ones with rgb for a decent price ;c

    • +3

Wait till june. Then they will be cheaper

  • +5

Thank you op. This will fit nicely into the SFF pc :)

~$100 off MSRP isn't the worse thing in the world all things considered.

If not in a hurry, Hellhound (the next tier up in the PowerColor lineup) is still available for pre order with May shipping estimate at PB Tech for $1208.78: https://www.pbtech.com/au/product/VGAPOW290721/Powercolor-He…

Ooooh PTM7950 as standard is a very nice feature. Won't ever have to open it up to re-paste

  • +2

    $1139

  • Why are they selling it at 10% more than the AU rrp (which is already inflated)?

  • +1

    Not a deal at all
