I drive 2014 hyundai i30, which doesn't have tyre pressure monitor system. When I took a loan car while my car was under service, I noticed this feature on 2020 model and was impressed.

Are the external sensors any good? I don't really want to pull the tyres off the rims, and it may be a long time before I buy new.
Yes, they're accurate and sturdy. Been running the Mata C for about 3 years on my Prado. Bought this brand because of excellent reliability feedback on caravan and 4WD forums, and simplicity of setting. So impressed I stumped up for two more for family vehicles.
I've bought quite a few of the external ones.(friends, family, customers, while i was still working as mech)
IMHO they work well. There's so many sorts on ebay under $40 or so.
batteries ~ 2 years. (Cheap off ebay…)
