I've been caught out by this for months. The excitement then the hopes dashed

amazon, jumping on the trump bandwagon

  • Is this Evo Select better than the Evo Plus for a couple more dollars?

    • I believe they are the same. Evo 'select' is the Amazon exclusive brand designed to allow Samsung to sell a cheaper product via Amazon (where there is more competition for sales) and continue charging brick and mortar retailers higher prices.

    • its he same, rebrand of the plus. no difference.

Would these be ok to use on security cameras that record and rewrite files often?

    • +1

Apologise if I did not answer your question, but I'm using it for my digital camera (smaller capacity, bought it couple of years ago, using adapter, because my old camera is using SD card) for taking pictures and quite often, videos too. Once I transferred all files to PC, I formatted this media using camera format option, and I don't have any problem with it.

For security camera, some people said better to have the endurance one because it is more reliable for continuously write and rewrite tasks, but others said that the performance of micro SD degrades over the time anyway and need to be replaced regularly (every two years) therefore buying the cheaper alternative is fine - so I guess it depends on the use case.

      Cheers!

I've got these in a couple of Eufy 2K Pan & Tilt cameras, even at the highest quality it takes about 40 days to fill before it starts to rewrite.

  • How do you collect the coupon?

    • Not coupon, but promo code (written in the ori-post).

    • Click the 'redeem' button next to it on the product page, or use the code at checkout.

  • Placed 2 of them Thanks!

  • my order history shows on 8 April 2024 i got x3 for $77.32 that's $25.77 each

deal says $27.7 each if buying 3 for 10% so i must have gotten further discount

just realised this was 512GB model and was a deal of the century

it probably won't be this price for a very long time but if anyone's on the fence i've given some inspiration to hodl until you decide you don't really need it

    • jesus that is goated

    • 256gb was like $13 in black Friday pretty sure

  • Haven't been able to apply the buy 2 for 15% to any of my orders lately is it a one time use only coupon?

    • I think it expired, I didn't use it and no longer see it. Will update the deal.
