I've been looking to get an LG C4 83" since July.

I annoyingly started looking only a couple of days after the ATL price of $4441.32 inclusive of a bonus soundbar. I have been holding out since for something similar, but it never eventuated and never got close to that price again. My last chance was on release of the C5 models which has just happened, but again they haven't come down anywhere near that amount.

I'm sure no one here really knows, but has anyone got any intel on possible price drops, or maybe you've gotten a great deal recently I can use as leverage?

I hope I don't miss out on the C4 while waiting and be stuck waiting for an unlikely fantasy C5 deal around July again.

  Keep an eye out, that suggests they’re prepared to sell at least as low as that.

  Have you tried asking jb hifi / the good guys for a deal? You know they have advertised for that price earlier. So they can definitely do the pricing. You just need to find a sales person willing to do a deal!

  If you’re looking for a potentially more cost effective option. Consider purchasing an ex display model or look at the TCL higher end Mini LED models.

  You’re getting near OLED picture quality at nearly 50% of the price when on sale.
