subjective but at $54.48, personally I'd be willing to take that risk

To me these sound objectively worse than the akg earbuds that were bundled with my old s10e.
you'd need a DAC anyway given most smartphones don't have a 3.5mm plug anymore. Its a matter of using the appropriate DAC. $55 is a lot to spend for chi-fi and I think the ZS10s were around $50 on a Linsoul Amazon sale a few months ago. You can get them for around $30 on AliExpress sale.
If you use it for gaming or movie, it's amazing. For music, maybe you'll feel sleepy 🥱. It's much louder than many normal earphones, even better than my cheap Sennheiser earphone previously.
I bought this iem for around $48 from AliExpress in 2021 and I still use it until now :)

I have cheaper Moondrop Chu 2, but I feel this KZ is better …
Would these be a waste of money for use on a normal smart phone?
