The color is that not bad, but a good rule of thumb is "the uglier the bag, the fewer of them that are likely to be on the carousel and the easier it will be to spot the right bag".

    • I don't think so. Black/grey bags are still plenty. Bags with unusual colour are still stand out.

There are many lighter options these days.

  • How are the product dimensions larger than the packing dimensions? 🤔

It's expandable. I have one in a different colour. It's actually not a bad carry on

      • Thank you! That makes sense

Note that the 24cm depth of the bag is "technically" 1cm more than the more common both domestic and international limits for carry on bag depth (which is 23cm). Possibly unlikely to be pinged but …

    • I've been looking at bags recently as I'm planning to buy when I find the right bag at good price. There's a lot of bags available at the moment that exceed the common dimensions for travel in Australia, Asia and Europe.
Has anyone here been pinged for bags that exceed the approved dimensions?

Not myself but I've seen people forced to check their bags when the checkin people have forced everyone to both weigh and fit their bags in the airlines bag sizer thing before boarding - most recently on a trip in Europe (Greece & Italy) last year

    • The math (115cm total) for this bag is ok though for SQ.

I bought this bag (and also a dark blue colour) from TK Maxx for $100 few months ago, so might not hurt to check them out

  • 2.6kg
    I was hoping for 2-2.1kg
