Headphone Choice Help!

Hi looking for some good suggestions based on the below - it maybe a unicorn request, but lets try your best.

  • Over Ear.
  • Need something for larger ears (would measurements help?).
  • Wireless/BT.
  • Call mute button on the unit/earcups.
  • Good for Teams calls
    - Less than $100. Less than $150
  • Noise cancellation features.

Other bits I'm not really concerned about too much e.g. music quality and the like. I listen to a lot of music but maybe I'm not an expert to judge the headphone too much.

Essentially something comfortable to wear for long to take work calls and listen to music a bit, while not breaking the budget.

J.Burrows is Officeworks' generic brand, but this particular headset comes with a 3 year warranty (potentially longer if you use a credit card with an extended warranty policy).

    There are two microphones.
The detachable boom microphone and the crappy built in one of the holes at the bottom of one of the earcups.

They claim it is foldable, but it doesn't come with a carry case, so it would be vulnerable to being crushed when crammed inside a bag.

Unfortunately, there is no mute button.

  • Don't get the J.Burrows, it has no mute button.

    Budget too low. Don't bother.
You will end up not happy and buy a good another one after few weeks. Wasted $.

    Less than $100.

    AKA

"GUys I want a V8 with over 300HP and the latest features. Oh and I can spend $5000"

Up your budget, or lower your expectations.

You aren't going to get all that under $100. Especially the noise cancelling.

Try Razer Barracuda X - I have these and they're great, they tick all the boxes except noise cancelling.

  • I have $400 Grado wireless, and $22 Kmart Bluetooth. Tend to use the Kmart as it is easier to pair and sounds fine for podcasts, YouTube’s and some music, and if I break it, it’s cheaply replaced. Poorer battery life though.

Honestly that's a crazy set of requirements for under $100.

  • Checkout the soundcore stuff (like the Space One or Space Q45), they frequently go on sale ;)

Got my son some Space Ones for ~ $90 a while back … he is always chatting to friends on Discord with them …

  • Hi guys thanks for your responses. I figure $100 is too cheap for what I want, and I want all of the things I mentioned as theyre important for me. Do we have any options if we up the budget to $150?
