These are great, love my pair!

If you wanted foam tips, the Sonicfoam SF4 ones from Amazon are the correct size for this bud.

    • I like listening to songs when gymming and walking, however when walking, I hear my own foot steps (like hearing my own heartbeat). The heavier the ear buds more I hear my own foot steps. Would foam tips help? Thanks.

      • Foam tips help the buds fit better in your ear, and by doing this they help block out external sound.

If you are hearing your footsteps when walking then maybe the bud is hitting your ear when walking so a better fit may stop you from hearing your footsteps?

https://www.amazon.com.au/SONICFOAM-Isolation-Replacement-Ea… - they do offer refunds if you're not happy so I would try them and see what you think as it's very much a personal thing.

If you do like them you can also send them a photo of the tips fitted on your buds and write to them with a blurb how much you like them and they'll send you a free set :)

I would also recommend. They work really well. I can almost get all day out of them, although I tend to recharge at lunch time

Hi, I'm a noob to wireless earbuds and not after anything too fancy, I ordered (but haven't opened) a pair of Soundcore by Anker A20i's… are these likely to be significantly better?

  • +4

These are great. Once I tuned EQ settings, I no longer reach for my Bose earbuds. Amazon reviews looks quite detailed.

  • +1

I was extremely happy with my pair at $120. ANC is impressive, app is useful and un-intrusive. For this price I might buy a backup pair…

  • Love my pro 3's. Going to get these too.

  • This is a very good price. I got mine for about $95. The reviews are right. They are very decent overall. They won't match the flagships where you're paying $300 or more but still, they've got very good sound quality and ANC. If ANC is critical and you don't want pay flagship money, get the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC. Its ANC is significantly better and rivals the flagships. However, the sound quality isn't as good as the Earfun which is a lot more balanced.

    • Thank you!

I will wait for Soundcore Liberty 4 NC deal then.

      Cheers!

How important is ANC to you? I have over-ear wireless Sony headphones for proper ANC. They cup the ears and they're Sony so obviously the ANC is amazing but sometimes I don't want to carry them around compared to earbuds which easily fit my pocket even with the case. Also, earbud ANC will largely depend on fit, ie tips. Someone above recommends Sonicfoam SF4 from Amazon. I use Linsoul DUNU S&S Silicone tips and they make the ANC and sound quality much better on the Earfun.

Sound is subjective and there are too many reviewers out there who are misleading, inaccurate or heavily biased. The best is reviewer is a guy named
Radiant-Cherry-7973 aka ReganCipher who does awesome reviews on Reddit and YouTube. I used his excellent work to compare earbuds. The links I provided will take you directly to his EarFun Air Pro 4 reviews which contain Soundcore Liberty 4 NC for comparison.

        He says:

The L4 NC have a bloated and slightly distorted bass and I just couldn't tweak the highs to avoid some of the coarseness to the trebles. It's more v-shaped than the Earfun, but it sounds very congested when you have more complex tracks especially with instruments in the lower midrange like guitars.

When it comes to ANC, the Liberty 4 NC are stronger and the strongest I've tested under $100. The Earfun do have better transparency and have improved it with subsequent firmware updates. Again, you can hear this for yourself by skipping to the Binaural ANC sample section of the review for each.

        • Hi @johnwickspuppy,

I will using it for commuting, working in the library / cafe (not as noisy as the one in the video you provided) or at the park so basically decent ANC is enough. I don't want to block all the noise since I still need to be aware of surrounding, especially when I'm walking / jogging. The punchier bass is a plus, but not super important. For calling I still prefer to use phone's speaker and microphone.

I have Bose Quiet Comfort SC, and it is very good for everything (ANC, sound quality) for me. However, pretty much similar to your experience, it is quite bulky, and time to time I don't have enough space in my backpack when I'm not using it.

Now I'm back to square one again. Will spend more time this arvo to compare.

          Thank you for your enlightnement.

        • does ANC work well to block passing by car noise when listening to podcast when running outside?

          • @justaddwater: They won't block car noise 100% but you don't want that. Safety. I don't run, I only walk, and I'm very happy with the ANC. It blocks enough noise around not just from cars to make the listening experience enjoyable.

Running will raise another issue for you in terms of fit and whether the earbuds will fall out. I suggest you look up Reddit to see what other runners use. Here's a recent discussion.

  • Any first hand comments on the microphone quality, especially when out and about?

I work in sales and use these to make calls 3 hrs a day.
These are better than galaxy buds 2.
Bought another pair for my mom.
    Totally recommend .

    • Are you referencing the USA version? Or the AU version?

      • Bought from Amazon au so not sure.

Based on the comments here I might return these Anker ones https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BTYBVR4S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_f… and get these EarFuns instead -

  • I want to buy my first earbuds and considering Soundcore Liberty 4 NC (saw it when the price is around $80). Any idea whether I should grab this EarFun (never have experience with this brand) or Soundcore?

Just use it mainly for my daily commute. Can be used during jogging is a plus, but not a must.

    Thank you..

    • From what I remember the soundcore ones were bigger and heavier than the airfun. I was deciding between the same two models and went with the earfun and very happy.

  • Me and the misso have been using ours for years. Both pairs are excellent value for money and they last

  • Tempting! Are they comfortable for side sleeping? I want a pair of featured earbuds like these that are also ok for side sleeping. If anyone has any recommendations! TIA!

  • After a replacement for my dead Jabra Elite 75T… I loved their bass and sound profile. Are these a good replacement?

  • are these secure? not easy fallen off? never had these style before

    • +1

These have never fallen out of my ears.

    • They fit me way better than a Baseus MA10 pair I tried.

I always hated in ear buds because they never fit my ears properly and the airfun are the first pair that I've tried that fit well.

  • +1

Wearing mine now! Fantastic earbuds, you won't regret this purchase!

  • Could someone please provide some feedback on these with regards to call quality? Online reviews seem to suggest these aren't great for calls, but not sure what they compared it to (i.e. airpods, galaxy buds, etc). Thanks

Grabbed these on Tuesday and they arrived yesterday. Currently in the office and I'm seriously impressed by the ANC. There's a leaf blower going outside the window and I can't hear a thing. It's also significantly reducing the volume of people talking nearby (I can still hear them but it's a muted whisper) and the music is also doing a fair amount to cover that up too. Volume from my phone is set to 30% and it's just background jazz, so not like I'm blasting out death metal at 100 either. Very happy so far!

  • It is $94.99 for me. Do I miss any code?
    Thanks.

    • Looks like that deal has finished. Although $95 is still a good price for how good they are.

  • I was looking at these recently but ended up going for the CMF buds pro 2 because I needed them urgently for a business trip and they were available in JB.

Picky Audio ranks the CMF slightly higher than these and the Earfun also have some negative reviews on Amazon regarding buds not connecting to the case properly at times. The other feature I like about the CMF is the control dial on the case that can be used for volume control or track skipping and is surprisingly useful.

  • Got a pair of these, I used the earfun app to connect to both my iphone and my PC via bluetooth, but when I do that it doesn't seem to work on the iphone? Any ideas (earfun app shows connected to both)?

Also, I'd like a little more bass from the sound when playing music, is that easy to adjust in the app or is it just what to expect from these? I tried fiddling with the equalizer but no real change in sound for some reason

Wow these punch above above their weight. The fit is perfect. These are replacing my Airpods Pro
