I used to buy the unsweetened one until I compared it with the standard one and found the unsweetened contained more sugar.

I also noticed this last week, Very odd.

      • They both have no "added" sugar, (the sugar comes from how they process the oats, and in some countries oat milk producers get in trouble for processing the oats in this way while calling it low sugar, Australian authorities apparently consider "unsweetened" an acceptable weasel word), and the Milky variant is sorta "watered down", and has less 25% less oats, so therefore less sugar

The Milky variant also supposedly uses a different variety of oats, so you can't simulate it by watering down the Unsweetened version

          and less everything else

          • @tonester: Same amount of salt tho (according to the nutrition info, but ~25% less of everything else yeah)

    • Which one is the standard one? Are you referring to Oat Milky?

      • +1

        Yes Oat Milky.

        • Oat Milky is the best.

          • @dbell: milky has less nutrition than milk because it has more water - hence milky not milk

Oat Milk Unsweetened is the standard - not Oat Milky
