Are these drop-shipped from China? My $20 keyboard I bought from Aliexpress has the exact same font and key cap aesthetic.

No these are not dropshipped. They are made in China yes, but I hold the stock myself and designed it with their team, though there may be copies I suppose. Mine comes with 2 year warranty supplied / Aus Support / Aus Shipping as well.

You just ordered them with your brand on the spacebar.

Kogan was selling them years ago - Full/TKL/Cherry/Outemu/Blue/Brown/Red switches. Comes in the same black box.

For example $17.99 here and as low as $13.99 here for Outemu switches.

        • Literally the same 'odd' shift keys and everything.

    • Seems like the same PCB/controller too.
$20 ones have a different case (worse imo) and certainly much worse switches, assuming "Cherry MX" in OP is accurate and not referring to just form factor.

  • Hotswap? USB-C? Detachable cable? Tuned stabs? Any premium/custom features? Cheers

    • Hey Crispy Ty for your reply. Unfortunately no detachable cable and is not usb C. The space bar is tuned stabbed but the other keys are not. No premium or custom features sadly either as this is the cheaper range. Not hotswappable either, sorry but I will take these into consideration for a more premium model potentially in the future Thankyou :)

  • How is the RGB set? Could someone order a black one and a white one?

    • Yes different colours work on the deal. The RGB is not individually programmable unfortunately but can be toggled through the different default programs using the keyboard itself (no software).

So $40 for an unknown brand basic rgb mech keyboard that's wired only, no hot swap, off an unknown website and you have to buy two.

    Bargain

  • looks like a very basic mechanical keyboard. wouldn't call this a bargain
