I'll give 1 a shot ^^D
Nope. They don't like our steel, I dont like their candy
the packet says mfd. in Canada, does that make it ok to buy?
It would certainly remove the Made in the USA stain
so you're boycotting all of amazon, right? bezos is american..
OzBargain and Reddit will always hate the current thing (Trump and Elon are currently their “2 minute hate” subjects).. whilst turning a blind eye on literally everything else which is in one way or another compromising some sort of human right.
I love these kinds of fallacies. If you boycott one thing, you HAVE TO boycott everything. I saw Elon crying on a Fox News clip yesterday when they asked about his businesses. Job done as far as I'm concerned.
The fact you lump popular aggregators together as monolithic beings will forever leave you confused as to what is actually going on.
Yes, things that are popular to hate will float to the top in a popular aggregator website. That's what the algorithm does. It doesn't mean at all that the individuals participating are turning a blind eye to anything - just that you are turning a blind eye to people.
It's entirely possible for one person to simultaneously think human rights violations in the US, China, Nauru, Sudan, Turkey, Russia, and any number of other places are bad, even if they only happen to write about one thing at a time, and the algorithm combines those one things that are topical together and shows them to your eyeballs.
Boycott merican
Yeah, buy something else on AMAZON.
Red 40 should be enough to turn anyone away
Thats not what makes me recoil.
Doesn’t Gatorade use toxic colouring too?
Reddit has ruined me
I too remembered that snippet of Jolly Rancher related lore when I saw the deal title.
Do you reckon we can get a 2-for-1 deal on psychological care, for our shared trauma?
Came here just for that comment. I think of it with new Tinder dates too.
whats this ?? the cunning lingos event ? …
A copy pasta as old as time itself
Yuk. Seeing pictures now, why did I look it up on reddit for?
Stay away from that site. Especially reading garbage. You won’t learn anything from that site. It’s a teenage site.
I was only on there to get directions on how to get away from there
Yeh, right. 🙄😏
Especially reading garbage. You won’t learn anything from that site
I see you prefer your learning from the high-brow Ozb is it?
Just because you can, does it mean you should?
I don't understand why Americans like these so much, they literally taste like chemicals.
American candy in a nutshell. Corn syrup with artificial flavours.
Agreed. I grew up hearing all these lolly (candy), chocolate and cereal brands on US tv shows and thinking I was missing out. I’ve since been able to try a number of them and they’re almost invariably rubbish compared to the British/European, Australian and Japanese confectionery products I grew up with.
Amen
Whenever friends or family holiday in Japan, I get super excited for the goodies they bring back. They really know how to do food, snacks and confectionery
@BubbleOBills: Absolutely. One of the things I love about travelling is going to the local convenience stores and scoping out all their snacks (sometimes just to suss out the prices in the true spirit of an ozbargainer); it’s a particularly good experience in Japan.
I agree with everything anti-american-candy here but remember these guys also make gushers.
Well, I am partial to Jolly Ranchers. Good work, Hiphopopotamus.. Hiphopopotamamuses.
Or is it a really cool hopopotamus?
Mitch Hedberg joke for the win!
They all have hilarious names and are delicious.
I just love the name…that in itself is funny.
I 've also always liked hard candy.
Anyone fill me in what's the controversy this these? Use to love them as a kid, especially the apple flavour.
US tariffs on all friendly allies, including Australia
Best to buy non-US products, at least for the next 4 years
Australian food have standards, why would we want American food that have virtually none? We live about 6 years longer than Americans and I know the reasons why are complex but we don't need to undo it all.
I'm fine with you personally eating more… a LOT more.
FYI this is exactly the same price as they currently cost at Walmart in the US. So quite a good price all of the way here.
awesome i loved these when i visited america.
Don’t know why but it took $10 off with a gift certificate so I only paid $0.48. Thanks OP
Feeling a little sorry for all those convenience stores that are stacked with American confectionary and snacks. I would expect a few more sales like this with the best way to move yank stock is to price it to clear.
Poor USA Foods must be having a bastard of a year.
They'll have the launder their money a different way!
Firebombs away!
They'll do it the Ezymart way with illegal vapes behind the counter.
RESIST! No one should eat this garbage except in small ammounts, and athlethes. So much energy will make you fat and unhealthy children!
Let’s eat grandma.
It's NSFW in a truly gross way, but I feel like it's important for people to know before offering these to other people… https://www.reddit.com/r/MuseumOfReddit/comments/18vqte/the_…
