What even charges at 240w? The highest I know is 16” MBP at 140w

    • not sure tbh. I don't even have anything that charges over 60w.

just saw this on amazon and remembered it was $49-$59 before, then camels says ATL so posted.

    • It is a 5A cable. So if the laptop charges at 20V, that is only 100W.

It’s best to buy a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 cable, as most MacBooks have Thunderbolt 3 or 4. You get high-speed data transfer and charging.

    • yeah I remember watching a video that said you should get intel certified cables you will never have a problem if it's certified. forgot which one they recommended it was a budget brand like anker and the cable was intel certified.

    • don't think it's the same cable afaik.

there was also a Anker right angled 240W C to C cable (6ft 2 pack) for less than the $29.99 for this 1m 240W cable. edit here found it: https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Braided-Charging-Samsung-Mac…
but my experience is they are not made to the same standard.

I had a two pack of braided lightning from Anker, both failed on me. there is a review for the right angled C cable I mention above, that one of them failed very quickly. I stay away from Anker multi packs now because of this.

this 765 cable in the deal, can be thought of like a GaNPrime cable. so "premium" quality like their GaNPrime chargers.

  • Why would you pay $29.9 if there are other options frequently around $7-$10 for the pair???
