I tried some the other day. I don't know if it's the fact that I haven't had coke cherry for so long, or some other reason, but it just tasted kinda funny to me (almost like cough medicine). Not that it was bad, it just took a while to drink.

Yeah I'm the same… Never had cherry before but this tastes more like marzipan to me. Could only stomach half a glass and had to give up…
I'm a regular zero drinker and love vanilla coke but this was just too much for me…
Since they canned the zero vanilla, and this idea has been floatin around what i do is buy a $1.50 bottle of imitation vanilla and add say 10ml's to a can/glass and wa-la! coke vanilla.
Agreed, I don't mind Cherry Cola but once you add Aspartame or Saccharin you have basically got the recipe for Benadryl.
There is a noticeable taste difference.
If you want cherry coke as close as humanly possible to aussie cherry coke, buy UK imported.
I have been buying the US imported Cherry Coke in cans from IGA (I preferred the US type) but it is quite pricey, around $2/can. Hoping this bottled Cherry Coke Zero is reasonably similar in taste, otherwise it will probably be back to the imported cans
You can get cherry coke, pineapple fanta, and other flavours for $1 a can at GBO. Expiratory date is march 2013. (I think).

On the voucher it says "Note: We cannot scan this barcode from your smart phone", but i'm pretty sure they can just enter the barcode manually.
Thanks, just spot that. It does say one product per one transaction, so does that mean I have to scan and pay for each bottle? Quite annoying!

You cannot manually enter barcode numbers with the self-serve machines, not from the customer facing GUI anyway.
Haven't tried the self checkout, but the lady at the service desk said it will work, and sounded very confident of it. EDIT: just read the comment from beejay1177, who confirms that the voucher will work on the self serve for 1 bottle.
The 2nd Woolworths I went to, had no self serve, and the lady made me wait while she confirmed the deal was genuine with her superior & head office.
3rd Woolies had no 1.25L Cherry coke zero on the shelves :(
Hmm, it's strange that they had to check with head office if it was a printed deal… Why would it be in the system if it wasn't a proper promotion…?

She wouldn't scan it until she had checked with the higher ups. Saying that the voucher was not issued by woolworths, and alot of stuff posted on facebook are scams.
I tried it via the self-serve and didn't have a problem. This was yesterday afternoon.

Got one and tried to put it through the self-checkout, but it kept on reducing it by 1 cent.
I got the checkout lady to override it, and then I realised that I got the 2L bottle by mistake (neither of us knew at the time).

From my understanding, all codes are the same so you'd only print enough so they don't take or rip it up at the self serves. One per transaction but its a promotion so its good to let others have a try too.

thanks for this, i went to self checkout with just one printout, and purchased 3 bottles just did them in seperate transactions, you can rescan the same voucher just only once per transaction!

Woolies at Mawson Lakes (SA) had a special today on all Coke 1.25L drinks with 4 for $8:40. When Cherry Coke Zero 1.25L was scanned however the total came up as 4 for $8.
There was a shit tonne of 2L and 1.25L Cherry Coke Zeros left as well Sefton Park guys ;)
