  Does this mean that the $20 free giftcard is redeemable only at Westfield in Sydney CBD? I'm thinking that you can buy the $200 giftcards and receive the extra $20 in the CBD, but you can USE the giftcards at any westfields with participating retailers. This being the case, the deal becomes very interesting when you think of where you could use these…

  Has anyone had experience with the westfield giftcards? How do retailers react to using it? Is it generally like eftpos?

    my gf has got them a few times in the past. And yes, its just like using eftops. As long as you use it at the stores that are supported by it. You should have no dramas.

  Yes exactly. YOu should be able to use the $220 worth of gift cards at any westfield!

  Only thing is you need to purchase them in Sydney CBD. However. It maybe worth asking at your local westfield just in case.
  Cause i found this promotion in the CBD near those two westfield stores.

  You never know, other stores may have the same deal or may match it? No harm in trying?

  i dont see why you shouldnt be able to use it (the $200 or the $20) in any westfield.
  if anyone gets it can they pls confirm. I dont work in the city but am going there on Tues probably so will want to get it then

  i was in the city and tried to get it at westfield pitt st mall but they said its offered in 2 ways:
  1. voucher to cut out from a magazine called "ALIVE"
  2. if you received a copy of an email, then a copy of that

  sucks cos I had nothing on me :( they said it should close just after xmas/

  Very nice find.
  With alot of people spending hundreds on presents they can easily get a free $20. Even if someone wants to buy a washing machine from Harvey Norman they can get a $200 gift card and use that to pay part of it and get free $20.
