everyone knows this is vacuum frozen microwave fare and people still go for it?

A chunk of the reason they still exist is that they're halal and cater to families. Add that requirement into the mix and the amount of restaraunts you can go to shrinks considerably.
None of that makes up for their actions during COVID. Digusting company in my opinion and I think the same about anyone who gives them a cent.
That explains why so many middle eastern people go there even though the food is pub food.
pub food has the edge over rashays :)

Absolute trash when I tried it in West Meadows Melbourne.
No it was never good. It was trash when it first came out and it remains the same now. Seems they’ve continued serving trash interstate too.
The schnitty is so small, wouldn't even pay $10 for it. Ordered one last time and was just slightly bigger than a credit card.
If it's that small, better buy a roast chicken from ColesWorth
Those chickens are like large quails now! Costco roast chickens are much better value.
Food here is absolute junk! Wouldn’t even pay this for it.
last time I went in for a lunchtime schnitty, I thought they gace me a squashed nugget and chips. The chicken was so small if it wasn't a nugget it was from a pidgeon.

I kindly advise anyone who says "you can never go wrong with schnitty" to try this place and only pay $9.95 to be filled with regret instead of chicken.
I don't know how or why people still eat here. This has got to be the worst quality food chain in Australia.
I've been twice in my life, and both times the food tasted like freezer boxed meals you would get from Coles/Woolworths.If your thinking of getting this deal, Just get this, with this & if you want to add the sauce get this.
It will be cheaper per head, can feed the family and be similar quality. Ofcourse i don't advocate for having these boxed meals frequently, a proper home cooked meal is always better….but if your are tossing up between rashays or boxed meal, go boxed.
Rashays really isn't great food. I get that they usually have big spaces for families to congregate, but the food itself is quite sub-par for the price.
