      Not at all. However the quality of Sheridan has declined and I don't buy as much Sheridan as I used to.

      polyester cover with a polyester/silk blend fill, doesn’t state the percentage but based on other similarly named low cost quilts it’s probably 80% polyester / 20% silk or worse

    All this junk seems to be polyester or poly blend. "Alternative fill" just means polyester. It doesn't breathe, it won't last, and it's not better than cheaper cotton manchester from places like Target.

    Avoid this stuff on catch and buy cotton products. Much of this is polyester and microfibre blends which is super unhealthy.

    I just cant find to seem a good pillow. All the K-Mart/Big W ones are now pure garbage with no support. I got a "cloud luxury pillow" from Aldi but that actually is TOO heavy, thick and high so the opposite of the K Mart ones. Can't seem to find a good medium profile, medium weight.

      your cloud luxury pillow is filled with "down-like" microfibre, ie polyester

      functionally no different than the multiple varieties of unsupportive pillows at kmart and big w, almost all of which are filled with varying amounts of polyester

      your problem is probably with polyester (or at the very least, low quality polyester) so you'll want to look at different fill materials. you also certainly don't want to purchase any of the three pillows listed in this deal post (which are all filled with synonyms of polyester)

      memory foam is a common inexpensive 'supportive' pillow option, but i'm not a fan of the sinking feeling they have (or their tendency to trap heat).

      if you're willing to spend some extra $$, talalay latex will give you a supportive cushiony feeling with plenty of bounce and a much cooler touch. easily my favourite pillow type that i've tried, and should last at least 5 years instead of a few months for a polyester pillow
