come on, bring back $765 for S1 Pro or $467 for S1. this is just regular price

    • It's hard to get this price because it's a Black Friday price.

    • The $899 page is actually still on their site.

Just missing the add to cart button

    • Where can you get a S1 for $467?

  • +5

    $765 and I'm in

    • It's hard to get this price because it's a Black Friday price.

    • True ozbargain stakeout. 276 days and it's all yours

  • +6

The cheaper the better of course but kudos to the rep for delivering a code for the S1 pro that people requested.

    • Thanks for your understanding!

Thanks, I needed a new robot so ordered one. Happy for the $300 off.

    • Thanks for your understanding!

What’s the warranty like on these. Seen pictures of failed devices etc. Any real world users?

    • +2

If your look through the reviews of all robotic pool cleaners it 50% - great, it's a god send device that saves me time and money and 50% - broke after 2 months, misses entire spots in my pool, tips over, customer service is a nightmare, 4 weeks to repair under warranty

I'm 100% lost as to what brand or model to buy.

      • +2

Me too … my pool guy is always reminding me i need a robot eventually. But do i want to dump $1000+ just to remove sand from the bottom of my pool. First world problems. Thought i'd consider the cheapies and a few alarm bells later you're looking at dolphins

    • We have a S1 Ultra. 1st one died in the 1st week, not too mention the basket.
This was purchased last September. Store changed it over.
Replacement works great, but despite even more TLC, the basket broke again on the edge.
The basket needs to be better designed, and given the cost, is not cheap.
We were only washing it with the hose on the grass. frustrating, but the design of the basket is poor.

Please @Aiper reduce the basket price at your dealers etc. They are $61 and unsure if they fit ours?
We have the S1 skimmer also, which is awesome.

      Pool has never looked cleaner.
      @Aiper

      • Thanks for your suggestion, I will report it to the product department.

    • Some Youtuber showing them picking up a whole bunch of leaves in the basket. In my experience I could not get anywhere close to that after multiple attempts … like 1 in 10 leaves, and my gum leaves are half the width of the Canadian maple leaves shown in the Youtube videos. It cleaned up the algae mostly ok though. Bought it around this price. Only have it less than 2 months so will see how that goes in term of reliability…

Mine died after two weeks. I had to send a video to prove it.

They didn't replace the robotic cleaner in the middle of summer, as I was told there was no stock.

I waited two weeks, just to see they had stock in their online shop.

I sent an email to complain and got a refund.

Untrustworthy company and fragile robotic cleaners.

As compared to this product I would rather buy a used Dolphin .. I have never felt the need for a wireless version of a pool cleaner and the smarts here on offer are on/off/walls/water line/floors/all together ..not very smart since I have never encountered a situation where I go… only the floor needs cleaning today …add to that the battery running out is a problem if on holidays, and the repair and replacement parts are not around..still too early in this products lifecycle ….

Maytronics are expensive but well built .. Mine is going on to 13 years , have had to change the power cord (original Maytronics swivel cord is sold for 400 bucks!! , I got a non OEM for 200 dollars..still not cheap) and the bushings on the impeller motor (which cost me next to nothing off Ali ) ..works like a champ ..no smarts and corded ..and plenty of resources and parts available … having said that the day any of the 2 motor dies though..replacement is the whole black box with the board and 2 motors and will cost 600 new ..lets hope by then pool robots will be able to detect and target debris in which case I shall jump on it ..at the moment though I would advice buying a corded, established brand with parts and support available

    • Where can one buy used dolphin?

New are crazy expensive compared to these. Im looking for corded, does anyone know any reasonable brands/model?

      • +1

Facebook marketplace is your best bet as long as you are not in a rush..I have an S200 an older model which is no longer around .. plenty of newer models around for 300 to 500 ..if you find one and need advise.. send me a message

  • I got one in the black friday sale and it's great. No problems so far. Significantly better than our Zodiac MX6 suction cleaner. I have friends with $2k+ pool cleaners that perform worse.

Good for you mate.. give it 13 years

  • Just grabbed a S1 (non pro). Works well BUT when lifting it out of the pool so much debris falls back into the pool. Very annoying.

  • I have one. The control panel died after 2 months. I need to do a warranty now, which i haven't done.

    Cleaned well aside from that.

  • I have one. Does a great job but the power button doesn't work anymore so it's gotta go back. The only other negative is it's quite heavy especially when it's full of water. Im a strong guy but was a bit over its weight.

    • Yeah same problem here. I haven't invoked the warranty process yet, was it easy?

    • That's one main reason I went with the S1 (non-pro), weight!

  • Do you guys do demo like maytronics does? A lot of review's i have read online where people have had issues with robo not being compatible with their pools because of how their pool flooring or otherwise. Id be happy to buy but dont want this hassle of going through the purchase and then being stuck with one heavy $1000 worth of brick.

30 day money back guarantee helps.

      https://au.aiper.com/refund-and-warranty/

      • Thanks mate.. not sure if we have had real cases of people returning successfully during this period. I am unable to locate any locate any local address on their website.

Besides all the above, i just discovered while doing a research on which one to get, i learnt about cases of cordless aiper vacuums blowing up in US due to lithium ion batteries. Dont know how factual that is but water and electricity anyways dont go well together and then cordless ones needed to be charged after every use does not give any comfort.

Any recommendations on corded ones besides the usual dolphins?

        • +1

Sorry can't help there. Choice (October 2024) ranked the Suba S1 the #1 if that helps.

          Scuba S1 - 95% - Price as reviewed: $999
          Dolphin M400CB - 94%: $2749
          Dolphin S100 - 94%: $1499
          Dolphin S150 - 93%: $1999

          Dolphin's (above) are all corded.

          Maybe that helps?

  • Do not buy Aiper if your pool is salt water. I have S1. Head keeps tilting up. I've contacted Aiper. They said it doesn't work on salt water. But, they never mention that it's not compatible with salt water.

    • My pool is freshwater, head also had a tendency to tilt up. They gave me a replacement after I sent video, the issue was lesser, but it still sometimes tilted up, after about 30 minutes…

  • Any chance to get the code to buy this today?

    • Me too!
