Got the action 3 - it does everything I need and then some. Assuming it has a long life I'll be a DJI fan for life.

This better than gopro ? buying as a present so not that knowlegable on action cams.
Almost in every way, GoPro for a long time denied issues with the hardware, had overheating issues, this unit is waterproof as you can see it in the photo - no need for additional chunky cases, quality is better, lighting is better, and DJI warranty is very good.
Ensure to purchase the Sandisk Extreme MicroSD cards to ensure it can record in 4K properly.
