Which EarPod connector for iPhone 12 Max Pro?

I googled, and google can't decide between a lightning connector, a c connector or a jack connector.

I know I need a c or lightning, but which one?

I have wireless EarPods, but they fall out while I sleep and it then takes ages to find the one that's missing (there's always one)and reunite it with its friend.

On that note, I'm just after a pair of in ear buds with wires that connect them together that will plug into the bottom of my phone.

Bonus points if you can direct me to flat ones that are specifically for sleeping in.

May as well ask here, for what reason would I update my iPhone 12 max pro to iPhone 16 Pro max

=> volume on the 12 seems to be deteriorating => read hear other day happened after update.

=> currently got 256 => get lots of messages run out of room. Apparently no room to facilitate any more updates.

Oh, BTW: you know how you're supposed to clear your cache and cookies and run malware programs on your main rig? Am I supposed to
Be doing that on my iPhone?

iPhone 12 uses lightning connector so you’ll want earphones with that to avoid using adapters. You can get Apple’s own ones for about $29 or knock-offs for tenner less. https://amzn.asia/d/5HSF7M9

Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and clear out some space. Consider iCloud if photo/video heavy and want to keep them. Wait till Sept for the latest iPhones if you want to upgrade. Hopefully a bigger leap forward than current minor iterations.

iPhones do not need clearing cache or anti-malware apps.

  • You could get AirPods Pro, they will stay in your ears probably. Get the USB C version for future proofing. I couldn't get the older EarPods to stay in my ears either, but AirPods Pro with the squishy ear seal thing stays in just fine. They are so light that they never fall out. If you roll around in your sleep they might not be comfortable but no headphone or earbud will be.
