One steel spindle. Two ball-bearing sets. Two pieces cast (alloy? nylon?) , some screws.
$294? You have to be friggin' with me! Get outa here. Is this what impresses people at the track?

  • Came here for the typical clueless comments from the non-riders and it didn't disappoint. Good find OP. I have Stamp 11's on my analogue, 7's on my eBike, and 1's on my little fellas whip. Can recommend.

How many seconds do the Stamp 11 shave off your time?

      • +1

LOL, absolutely zero, and the 11s aren't even on a bike I race on. And I certainly didn't pay the silly retail price they ask for any of them. But the trails I ride, there is no way I would be trusting some AliExpress ones to safely last, especially with my size. Riding around town or even a light trail, absolutely, the AliExpress ones are an absolute steal by the looks of it, and would happily use for that, so I'm far from a brand snob, but certainly not for throwing yourself off drops and over rocks without snapping or bending.

        • Actual question, what's so good about these. I've tried all sorts of mtb pedals, after a certain price point all the same. THe aliexpress ones are pretty much solid and likely factory copies (i.e. the people stamp bros use to make them, just made more to sell lol). i've tried them and the eat rock smashing like any other pedal, no better no worse.

It's all fun and games until your "High Quality" clone disintegrates on a landing and you slice the bottom of your foot and get an axle through the calf

Puh-lease, Because you ride barefoot? If it makes you feel good spending big bucks on a brand go ahead, the ZTTO and other knock offs perform just as well

      • Real elitism here, a lot of the copies are actual copies - probably the same folks supplying crank bros. THere are pages on the interwebs comparing whats good and not.

    • Used to like crankbros stuff many years ago and had eggbeaters and candy.. I ride a lot and I don't recommend crank bros over many cheaper aliexpress variants.

  • Love these pedals, had mine 4-5yrs, had to replaced the Spindles once so far so good.

Good find OP. I like the grip and platform these provide, but do find grub screw pin replacement is painful if you snap them.

For non cyclists, this isn't about shaving time off, it's about feet being connected to pedals when sending it.

Dont forget also the thickness… The CB stamps are usually thinner than other brands and will have less pedal strikes on roots/rocks etc

    • Good advice.

I would consider a pair for my Grand Canyon, don’t remember what pedals it’s running now. Might need it, I’m 4 weeks in from fracturing 4 ribs coming off a jump in Forrest (Vic) on the practice track. Not fun. To top it off, I can’t remember at all how I landed (and fell) because I was knocked out and can’t remember even hitting the jump. Looking forward to getting back on the bike though, maybe in my mid 40s I should stick to flowy singletracks.

      • Nah, jank is king

  • Anyone in Melb buying? Maybe we can piggy back for postage which seems to be a constant $50
